I ended up getting a preset option, while adding two additional toppings, then opting for it to be made into a wrap. It was definitely the right move for me. The right amount of sauce without it becoming drenched, and the salad was well tossed prior to assembling the wrap so it wasn't heavy with certain toppings in different areas. Overall, I'd like to try it out again. I may have paid a bit more than I'd like to for a wrap because of the added items and the pre set menu, so I think I'd take my time again to look over the menu to get a better bang for my buck, but the meal itself was delicious. :)

Once we walked in, one of them came out front to help us with our order. My LTP ordered their Corned Beef - Original Big Beef that falls under their "favorites" category on their menu. He got this on white bread with mustard and both food items came with fries on the side. After our food was ready, we took it back to the house. The smell of the food during the drive back was absolutely wonderful and we couldn't wait to consume it when we got back. I think the Chicago Big Baby was one of the best burgers I've had in my life, with the chili being one of the most unique ingredients inside. The fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly as well. And please get rid of the crime-scene-looking tape at the end of the hallway. If you don't want customers walking farther down the hall, invest in an actual divider, stanchion, or barrier. However, there's one issue that I really don't understand: the chicken is often so hot that the Styrofoam container actually melts. I've noticed this more than once, and it makes me concerned about what may be transferring from the melted packaging into the food. If the food is hot enough to melt the container, why hasn't Cane's changed to a packaging material that can safely handle the temperature? I really like Cane's, but this is frustrating. Am I supposed to bring my own food container every time if I don't want to worry about potential exposure to chemicals from heated Styrofoam? I understand that homelessness is a serious issue and that people are struggling, but I also believe the restaurant should take steps to ensure customers can enjoy their meals without being approached or solicited inside the dining area. I hope management will address this issue and find a respectful way to prevent customers from being disturbed while still treating everyone with dignity.
