This BK has a great play place and a great staff. They're always very polite to me and my family. They also decorate for the holidays and even hid Easter Eggs in the play place. Disappointment would be an understatement. While there were two people ahead of me, the service was beyond disappointing. No friendly greeting let alone a "hello." The menu is difficult to navigate and oversaturated with it rotating between the combos and the value meals. While I understand this is fast food, with a total of 3 customers, I'm not sure what went wrong as I received a missing order and if I didn't ask for sauce I would've received none. As much as I like food, this Burger King needs to step their game up. Food: 2/5 Really greasy and almost going through the bag. you guys added fries onto my order so when I heard the total when I came to the window, it was more than the lady said she cannot take the fries off. I told her I did not want to pay for fries if I don't want them so she tried to give me a discount which is technically supposed to take off the fries and only took a dollar off the fries the fries were $1.50+ tax. I imagine that this particular Burger King, at 5240 S Fort Apache Rd., probably won't care about my negative review with an average score of two stars. I assume that all Burger King Restaurants in the general area don't care, with an average score of between one and two-star ratings. However, with what I saw yesterday at this particular BK Restaurant, I urge you to note the filthy and unsanitary conditions and poor customer service from a disinterested manager. I take my granddaughter out to restaurants as often as possible. Being the typical granddad, I ask her where she wants to go, even though I know the answer. But you can only take so much McDonald's, especially knowing that it's not healthy food. I went through the same routine yesterday and urged her to try [the more convenient] Burger King. I know it is no better insofar as a healthy meal, but it's a way to broaden her scope of life and food. Walking into the restaurant, I immediately noticed the dirty tables, floors, glass doors, and service counter. But to be fair, most McDonald's aren't that clean either. I waited almost 10 minutes for the customer in front of me to decide on what hamburger to order. While waiting to give my order, I noticed the young man at the takeout window pressing down on every drink (bare-handed) with his palms to place the plastic covers. That immediately turned me off as unsanitary, but I continued my order with the unpleasant woman behind the counter. I waited over ten minutes while my granddaughter played on the slides and finally went to the front to check on the delay. What I saw turned my stomach. More of the same by the kid at the takeout window. But now I watched as the older woman dropped french fries on the counter, picked them up bare-handed, then placed (actually threw) them back into a bag. I continued watching the woman throw french fries and onion rings bare-handed into takeout bags. Then I saw her grab multiple empty drinking cups with her fingers inside those cups. Those were my and my granddaughter's cups. Finally, she called out my number, and I went to pick up the order, and she told me that this was not my order. I was the only person at the counter and insisted it was my order. After a few minutes, she returned the hamburgers to the heat lamps and threw the french fries back into the tray. Then I saw her take one of the onion rings out of the bag, eat it, then return the rest to the heated tray. At that, I had enough, asked for the manager, and told him to refund my money and why. The man never said a solitary word (no apologies) and refunded my money. Someone should call the Health Department at this store. read more

From the reviews we already know they suck so I will keep it short. I ordered a chicken meal with onion rings and got fries. The problem is there is three people in the drive through when it should only be one. This is the slowest Burger King in town next to the one on rancho. Being that I use to work at Burgerking in Highschool I know procedures and protocols unless they have changed. Long story short you guys suck. The only good thing is that the kitchen sis there job. Holy crap I will NEVER go to this location again ever! The workers there are complete IDIOTS that can't even do a minimum wage job. And they want $15/hr? GTFOH with that noise! During that time, I could hear the cashier talking with someone in the restaurant about something. Didn't even care because I was already irritated at this point. I couldn't back out, there were people behind me unfortunately. Got to the window, waited some more for her to take our card for payment and to give us our drinks, which she never asked us what we wanted and gave us all Cokes. We must've been bothering her I guess. Then after waiting some more, she finally told us to go to the front and wait there for our order. Wow, even after all this they couldn't get a simple order together in time. There was no one in front of me by then. Once we got to the front, it took at least 20+ more mins of WAITING to get our food! Man what IDIOTS! I've worked at drive thru in fast food when I was a kid. Never had anyone wait more than 5 mins in line even with 10+ cars! Man, this was the WORST fast food experience in my life! Oh wait, the story doesn't end there! We were stuck in the drive-thru for 30 minutes! It was a ridiculous amount of time before she even said a word when we were waiting to put on our order. It starting feeling like a kidnapping! So we finally get our food and leave so after we find we only have half our order! So I call the store to let them know we didn't get our while order and we are on our way back. The girl that answered has the worst attitude. She asked which whoppers I didn't get but I couldn't figure out which ones I had because the symbol is blacked out with a thick pen. I asked what's next to the onion and she replied with "I don't know tomato?" (it wasn't even tomato) with the worst attitude! And never at any point apologizing. I asked for the manager and she said she was the manager. Figures! I I went inside to pick up the other two whoppers she never even approached me. The guy that did handle it hardly spoke a word to me slowly shuffling his feet walking back and forth like he didn't even know where he was. They had a full staff in there so there was absolutely no apparent reason for the weight that we had in the Drive-Thru except now I witnessed that they are all moving like snails! This is my 4th and last time I'll come to this Burger King again even though it's the closest to my house. The service is super slow every single time I came here! It wasn't like there's a lot of cars or people inside or in the drive thru either! I was in the drive thru with 2 cars in front of me. Each of those 2 cars we're trying to order and it took each of them literally 6min to just get the order in. I'm not sure what went on with those two but from what I've seen from what they got, it wasn't a lot or anything. Just 1 bag each and drink, so looks like just a meal each. After ordering it, I watched them wait another 4min to just get the food. I was waiting a total of 20min before I got to my turn at the window. I had a coupon for free small fries so I handed it to the cashier first. Then he asked me for payment for the rest of my meal, so I handed him my credit card. Something felt off so after he hands me my meal, I ask for a receipt (I never do) and he didn't take the free fries off. I asked him why he didn't and he reached in the trash can to get the coupon and had to get a manager. I then had to wait 4 more minutes to get a refund. He basically threw away my coupon and charged me for the fries. He didn't apologize nor did the manager. I was at the drive thru over 25min for a sandwich and small fries. I totally understand the hard time establishments are having finding and keeping workers, but I got in line at 10:05am for breakfast (drive thru only might I add), and was about 4 cars back from the ordering position. I got my turn to order at 10:26, to which I was told "one moment please". I waited for four minutes and saw the menu board change from breakfast to lunch. This is one of the worst Burger Kings I've ever been to. They get the order wrong most of the time, bad customer service, and long waits at the drive thru. It seems like the drive thru operator is often overworked or confused, neither is good. I didn't want to leave a bad review but I have nothing to do while I'm currently waiting at the drive thru for the 50th time so why not. Maybe a better operator or management will fix this place.
