All of the food was great. Crab cakes were wonderful and a healthy size, filet medallions were delish and we loved the side sauces that were served with the dish. Salad fresh, shrimp scampi was some of the best I have experienced and the bread pudding was top 2 in my experience. The "Dad/owner" came by and chatted with us before we left and it was a wonderful experience. Only reason I gave a 4 star is because they were out of a few side items. Highly recommend and will be back!

Awesome food and cool atmosphere. Would highly recommend the beer flight and the pizzaread more

Note it appears that their menus vary by location, with the University location having smaller offerings. Of the food we tried, I enjoyed the pepperoni pizza the most and the Boudin the least. If you do not drink beer, they also have cocktails and wine. As with the food, the University location has a limited selection of cocktails. The night we came they also had live music outside. The place is pretty huge with an upstairs and outside space. If you have little ones, or enjoy playing pinball yourself, they have a room where you can play on the Main level.

The pancakes had such a good flavor, might be a touch of vanilla and the bacon was fried just right...crispy. Best thing, which a lot of places which serve breakfast don't do was the little pod of SOFT butter. Too many places give you ice cold butter to spread on your toast or biscuit or pancake. Like the atmosphere, too.

Atmosphere - Clearly I sat at the wrong bar tonight. I did not even see the second bar until I left. I pretty much had the whole section to myself. I think the place is made up of a few old homes. They have a beautiful out door area but it was raining on and off all day, thus I sat inside. Food Drink - I had a pint of the GLLRGA, a solid double hazy IPA, by Rally Cap Brewing Company . I also had a sample of Red Nose Reinbeer, the bartender tought I would like based on our beer discussions. This was a seasonal beer by Urban South Brewery Dinner - Boudin balls caught my eye off the app menu. So I started with those. I also did not order more after that. The dish had five balls on it. I felt these balls were closer to hush puppies as I was not getting much of the boudin sausage vibe from these bites. Service - When your name has the word Brewing in it, I feel the place should have beer that they produced at the location. Not here, that is why they lost a star on service. They do focus on local beers, which is cool. My bar tender was great. Future - Sure, knowing this is a beer house instead of a brewery.

I give a 3 only because the manager was nice about it…read more Such a bad experience though. Not anyone's fault really, maybe. My bf and I arrived around 9pm, ordered ourselves a burger each because we were STARVING!! We are pretty patient people, so we waited and waited. 30mins go by and still nothing, the guy that ordered after us got his food. We asked and she said she'll check on it. A moment later, maybe 9:40pm or 9:50pm ish, the same girl that took our order said they were short staffed and it will take a bit longer and apologized. It's about 10pm ish now and the manager comes and apologize and explained the situation. The girl that took our order forgot to send the dam ticket to the kitchen this whole time... apparently she's in "training". Manager was very apologetic and told us our options for a refund or a reimbursement through drinks... Ma'am I'm trying to chow down a hefty burger not liquor. Shoutout to Bisou Lounge/Lux Plates & Pours for having their kitchen open late. My bf and I are just nice people and it sucks because we could've crashed out and caused a scene. I think that would be a normal reaction though because you got customers waiting a mf hour just to say y'all can't make the food anymore because the kitchen is closed and now you gotta give them their money back. If I was the cashier, I would've just went back there and whipped up a burger because it was my fault. Other than that, place seems like a cool chill bar, and they have nice staff:)

There were three of us, and we enjoyed ourselves so much that we stayed until closing! We started with the Crab Beignets and the Bone Marrow Tartare. I had never tried bone marrow tartare before, but it was absolutely incredible. The combination of prime tenderloin tartare, bone marrow, garlic aioli, and chimichurri purée was unique and packed with flavor. For our entrees, we had the Lobster Pasta, Mushroom Pasta with Chicken, and the Power Bowl with Shrimp. Every dish was outstanding. The Power Bowl was especially flavorful, and I absolutely loved the sauce. The lobster pasta was rich and delicious, and the mushroom pasta was perfectly prepared. To finish, we shared the Brownie in a Cup, which was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Everything we ordered was amazing. Great food, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere.
