For my American friends wondering about the interesting options on the menu . . . here's a little intel: I fell in love with the bitterballen. Crispy on the outside and almost gooey on the inside. I could have eaten them my entire trip and never tired of them. Crispy, warm, savory, meaty, yummy. Cheese tengels. Imagine a small, narrow cheese-filled fried spring roll. Order more than you think you'll want. They are fabulous. Kipcorn. Imagine a chicken stick, breaded with crushed cornflakes, and deep fried. Yeah. They're good. Not particularly exotic - you'll be reminded of a fried chicken patty from the uSA. Frikandel. A deep fried sausage (hotdog style). Tasty. Prices are good. The place was incredibly busy. We grabbed our items and then had to hover near the few benches near by to sit down and eat. Because we tried one or two of several things, we had a lot of things to pass and share.
