Bernie's is one of the better options located near the Gothic Quarter in Barcelona. But it really is only one of the better ones because a lot of other "American" establishments are bad. My GF had their strawberry cheesecake milkshake and it was good, but tasted more like just strawberry than strawberry cheesecake. T-bone steak tasted similar to a decent american diner and it hit the spot. Their ribs are absolutely horrible though. They were overcooked, dry, bland, and slathered in a bad BBQ sauce. Do come if you miss home, but don't come expecting an amazing meal.

If you're really desperate for American food in Barcelona, I guess you can find worse, but if you have time, I'd go elsewhere. For what it's worth, the atmosphere was cool. Good music and aesthetic.
