It's mostly a breakfast or lunch place, with delicious ham sandwiches on crusty long pieces of bread with that tomato jelly stuff that Barcelonans like to spread on their bread. This, orange juice and coffee seems to be the regular things to get here. The restaurant was empty when we came in, ordered and got a table. It was an inordinate amount of time seeing that we were the only customers, but I guess they do things on a different time scale in Viena. Looking around, this restaurant is sort of a mix between modern and antique. They have an antique organ for some reason, old wooden carved stuff, and lots of shiny surfaces. It was clean and wheelchair accessible. The food was decent- if you're looking for ham, go next door to that ham shop. They take even longer than this place, but have better cuts and selections of ham. If you just need coffee (small and watery) and stuff to go, I guess this is the better choice of the two.

I didn't have too many other iberico sandwiches flautas / entrepans / bocadillos on my recent trip to Spain for comparison, but I can tell you that the roll was nice, flaky and chewy, the tomato spread was good, and the jamon itself compared favorably to much of the prosciutto that I had in Italy, if a bit salty. I think what I liked best about Viena are that it's open at 8:00 a.m., so I was able to get coffee, delicious croissants (almond is best ever!!!) as well as flautas for later all at the same time. Service is very pleasant and quick and they have beer!
