What an idiot i am, this is by far the best kebab shop in blackpool, possibly lancashire. No fancy burgers, pizzas, indian food, fried chicken e.t.c. here, just kebabs about 6 options altogether, i plumped for a large donner (no salad options on offer just shredded cabbage and onion and a chioce of 5 sauces). It was delicious with home made chilli and garlic sauce and the meat was of a far superior quality that you get at the all singing all dancing takeaway. It is run by a lovely couple, a Scottish lady and i presume her Armeniem husband, who were both very pleasant, welcoming, and nothing seemed too much trouble. I visited early evening about 6pm expecting the lamb to be warmed up or just cooking but this was well cooked and fresh, they dont even open past 10pm so get there early as this is one kebab you can eat sober and savour. If there is a downside it is that the place is a bit dated and could do with a good clean decor wise, but i thought this added to the charm. I tried this place after a search on t'internet for best kebab shops in blackpool this place was there and thats why i tried it, i am going back only once a month though as i have to watch the waistline and look after the cholestrol levels. I use this store every week morning on the way to work to get a coffee and twice a week a breakfast bagel yet in the past month alone they have given me the wrong item which if i had not check in the bag before driving away i would have ended up stuck with it. Without fail and no exaggeration this store gets some aspect of my order wrong nearly everytime i visit. Last week the girl who handed me my order told me that everything was in the bag including the straw but I'm so used them getting it wrong again and agan that i opened the bag to check my items as i have to do everytime now and low and behold there was not straw or any dips i had asked for and no tomato dip that is supposed to come as standard with the cheese bites. Today i visited and when i got the bag pretty much thown into my lap though the car window i opened the bag to check as usual and the dip that comes with cheese bites was missing yet again, so just to reiterate not something that is an option, this is something that is part of the oder. I the asked where the bbq dip was and the girl told me they had run out so i asked her why she didnt tell me that when handing me my order and why i was not offered alterative to which her response was in a cocky attitute 'Its not my probelm' at which point i asked to see the manager so a guy walks over and i explain the situation and he did not offer an apology. This has been happening for years to me but today was another level with staff even laughing about it in backgrond as i was complaining to The "Manager" my adivse to anyone visiting this store is always check your order because there's a pretty much guaranteed chance it will be wrong.

Personally I usually take off all the fish batter as its usually greasy and horrible. But this fish was cooked in front of me and the batter was light, crisp and not at all greasy- I ate the lot. We had 3 haddock (they do cod and plaice too), one large portion of chips and two portions of peas just over £11 to feed 3 adults. The place is lovely and clean we will definitely be returning.

After taking many minutes to decide what we were going to have we placed the order, this along was fun as the guy behind the counter was full of smiles and even cracked a few jokes. There was a small queue of people waiting and so we thought we could be waiting around 15-20mins but NO, the food was ready before we even had chance to sit down at our table, not many places have that sort of speed. If your after a quick food but still like quality then this is the place to be.
