Based on their hours and my hate for eating too late, I never made it there. Finally, after realizing my beloved Llamo was closed on Mondays, I headed to Bully's as I had the coupons with me. I arrived right at 6 (opening time) and it was a beautiful day so the windows were open and a nice breeze was coming in. I ordered the Bully's Cheeseburger which is #2 on the menu. I ordered it with the sauce to the side because I think saucy burgers cover up the real stuff. And if you need lots of sauce, ain't nothin' good happenin' between that bun. I also ordered with Monterey Jack cheese. To the side, I ordered an order of sweet potato fries and aioli. Yayyyy sweet potato fries. In Germany. Yayyyyy. The burger came out quickly and the customer service was impeccable. Along with my basic #2 burger, my boyfriend had ordered the Spanish one (#6). His burger came out drenched in sauce. He didn't care for his, while I enjoyed mine thoroughly. He tasted mine and made the comment "I need to start ordering basic burgers like you". The Mexican burger has cheese, jalapenos, tomatos, red onions, lime, arugula, salsa....... and nachos? I get the inspiration and creativity, but any burger with more than four things on it (including cheese) is trying to hide something. The decor was charming and cute. It had bulldog photos all over the place and was very colorful. I really liked this and it gave a cool and hip vibe that many places around Frankfurt are missing. The have on their menu that they serve craft beer, however none was in stock when I was there. At a burger joint like this, I think that craft beer is essential at all times. It just fits the bill. I will definitely head back here when I crave a burger. Although that craving is rare, I am happy to know this place can give me a palatable dinner when I need it! I'm not sure what happened, but by the time we got there, six hours later, our reservation was lost. At first they tried to seat 7 of us at a 5 top table, then seated us in the kitchen (at this point we were happy to have any table). Our waiter took our food orders about 15 minutes later on a small electric device, yet of the 6 food orders placed (one person decided not to eat) 3 of the orders were wrong. One of our diners wanted more food but we never saw our server, from order taking, until it was time to pay (some one else brought our food). There was also some confusion about the paying part, but apparently there was enough time for the waiter to confront me about it, even though it had nothing to do with me, but instead with a couple of the orders that were wrong. I don't know. I really want to like this place because it's trendy which causes excitement. But, I'm not that excited about the place.
