The food was generally good but breakfast was a cold bacon & egg biscuit sandwich delivered to the cabin the day beforehand. We were expected to heat these up in the microwave in the am before fishing. The fishing itself was a big disappointment. First of all, the guide we were assigned showed up in the worst guide owned fishing boat I have ever seen. Seats were torn, the motor would not run above idle speed, the depth finder was broken, etc. In addition, the guide had not been on the lakes in years. The fishing itself was quite poor. This place is advertised as a "big fish factory". It's anything but. We caught no fish over 2 lbs and the majority were considerably less than that. Save your money. This is a very expensive trip which is definitely not worth the money.

I took my father and a friend to the property and rented out the lodge for 4 days. It was FANTASTIC!!!!! Andy and his guides are super friendly and they know their shit when it comes to putting you on wild game. Out of the seven hunts I went on I saw deer everyday except one. That day I saw a bunch of turkey. I sat in a stand one morning and counted at least 100 deer walk past me. It is not a high fenced property but they definitely put you in the right places to get a shot at deer and hogs. After 4 days I had killed a doe, button buck, an 8 pointer and a 10 pointer. My father killed a huge wild boar. My friend saw a bunch of deer but didnt shoot anything as his freezer was already full. I have already made plans to book the lodge and go again this November. Cant say enough about the people that work with Andy, top notch.

The morning of the second day the guides were putting out their camp fire from the night and there were 4 hogs lying on the ground being processed. I asked who shot the other hogs and they said they didn't know where those came from. Right, you don't know how 4 hogs show up on your private property. Glad we could all pay for the guides' hunting experience, even putting up with their snarky comments about how they don't like answering questions. Don't recommend and won't be back.

Sep. 26th was the date placed and paid $150 deposit over the phone but hurricane Ian came through & adjusted date. Then a death in the family happened within my family the next week and when I asked my deposit to be returned so I can bury decedent (weeks before date), Billy ignored about 12 communication attempts (texts/ calls/ an email). 19 days later until I mentioned showing up at the public address, he immediately texted that address. At one point, I wasn't sure if he had an emergency or was in a hunting accident..things happen and I'm sure most people would understand. He'll say his service is low and texteting is better but what's interesting is when I called the 1st time, he picked up on the 2nd ring and the call was in tact for about 15 minutes. He confirmed a refundable deposit about 3 times with me. Don't trust this "man" or "hunter" let alone his "buisness" because if you give him money he will not honor his work let alone his word.

You get signed in and sign off on their waiver. Then at noon they feed you a spread you just can't forget. About 1 o'clock the shooting starts and everybody gets to shoot pheasant. There's nothing like it. The hospitality is so unbelievable and everyone is so nice. You asked for anything and they take care of it. Will be back next year.
