I can't say I was very impressed with the Boxing Day sale this year (Dec 2018), when I went two…read moreyears ago I got some great deals. We arrived at 06:45am to an already almost packed car park. By 9am we were done and ready to go home, people arriving were being turned around as the overflow car park was filled so they were being bused from the park and ride car park way down the road. Bed smart, arrive ridiculously early. Especially if you want Gucci or Prada deals. The queues were already mental before the shops opened. Other than that, some great stores, and have your passport ready for VAT refund services available on the same day you buy all your goodies, don't wait until the airport!

I hit a few when I was there but by far the best was Max Mara! They had soooo much stock and everything was very well priced! I also love the way they have designed the mall - it's all outside, very beautiful and the bathrooms are such high quality. There is also really great food there! Although we didn't eat there this time. If you're in the area or even close enough to drive or get a train I'd highly recommend heading over to get some great bargains!

Smack in the middle of Bicester Shopping Village is the Timberland outlet store. Lots of parking…read morenear by so no excuse not to pop in and have a look! The layout of the store is a bit clumsy and if like me you have to cart round a push chair when you shop, it can prove to be a little bit of a head ache to negotiate. Once you have recovered from that though, the store is well worth a look. Stocks most of the Timberland range (Albeit not this season) so you can kit out all members of your household and save yourself and absolute fortune! The only slight snag is the same as all outlet stores suffer from, ie the sizes and colours available are a little bit hit and miss so probably worth going with an open mind! Certainly a lot to pick from there though!!

AVOID AT ALL COST Probably the worst costumer service I've…read moreever had, the manager called simona acted like she works at a fish market and not a luxury store. When you shop there please make sure the item you are buying is in pristine condition. Mine wasn't, I was rushing and bought a £400 jacket as the store was about to close, when I came back to complain and request a refund the manager treated the situation in a very unprofessional way and simply said I was lying, something that has never happened to me and very degrading. I asked her to view the cctv so she can see the item was not in pristine condition and no one checked the item before bagging it but she refused to do so and said "the cctv is there when we are concerned and not the costumer". She kept rolling her eyes and invalidating anything I say and rolling her eyes. Over all I would have to say I am surprise such undertrained staff is appointed as a store manager, she definitely had an aggressive demeanour .

I'm a regular-legged 36 and I can always find something I like to fit me here (try doing that up at Paul Smith). I love Jaeger quality - looks great for ages. My favourite jumper is a lovely mid-blue cashmere round neck I bought here, from a really lovely lady assistant. The jumper is amazingly warm and comfortable, but I have just worn a hole in one elbow after three years (working at a computer all day), so will be back to Jaeger for another one when I get time, in the December sales maybe.

The staff are all knowledgeable and helpful without being pretentious, rude or condescending in anyway. If, by chance, what you're after (size-wise) is not in the shop, they are more than willing to try and locate it at another of their stores. The sales -when they happen-are fantastic (excellent value for money) One of the better, if not THE BEST, shops in the Bicester Village complex
