In fact, it might even be the director of "Training Day", I'm not sure, but there are four antique shops in a row. One big one, one small one, one medium one, and one that has a "Back in 15 minutes" sign permanently taped to the door. Anyway, this one is big. I'm not a huge fan, but it took me 1 hour 20 minutes to get through the whole store, which is well-organized and packed. Though to be honest, 50 of those minutes was the Playboy section. Those articles are long. Like I said, I'm not a huge fan, but I do like looking at big clunky lamps, politically incorrect Americana, lunchboxes, things with boobs, clocks, bookends, cookie jars, geographical postcards, things with ugly faces, salt and pepper shakers, three wise monkeys, things that light up, pre-1990 pop culture (especially old toys and games I may have had, 70's fast food glassware), and unique furniture pieces, especially if they have weird right angles or bartending functions. I don't like quilted stuff. I smell pee just thinking about it.

They also have knick knacks, jewelry, pottery, toys, art, and more. The store was quite busy with customers while I was there. It was nice to see. The staff was friendly and helpful, quickly opening glass cases when I wanted to see something. Their inventory is so large I found it difficult to see everything in one visit. Their prices are reasonable. I ended up buying some California pottery, a framed floral print, and an MCM trinket dish. I'm looking forward to returning and taking another look around the store. There is a parking lot in the back of the building. Note: Some vendors have modern items mixed in with their antiques. A quick Google image search before you buy is a good idea if you care about the age of an item.

This was quite the unfortunate experience. I was so excited to have a thrift and vintage day and I had a tote bag with me for all of my shopping and farmers market shopping since it's a sunday... I walked in and greeted the staff, and did not get asked to put my bag away. If a store had an issue with it right off the bat, I have no problem with a bag policy. An example is the recycling bookstore, they ask you to put your bags with them and that's completely valid since they preface and have a storewide policy. Not a "customer profiling" policy. I then had an unfortunate experience where the male staff was following me and then later asked me to put my bag in the front. There were white customers in the store with bags similar and smaller sized to mine. I complied respectfully but I did not see anyone else with their bag in the staff storage area. I had my laptop with me as well and the front where they made me put my stuff was unattended and near the front door. I tried to brush it off and shop because I truly did have a mission to purchase a couple of antique items, but I felt so absolutely disgusted and appalled by the staff and their microagression towards me. The funny thing is, either if it was because I was young or brown, you shouldn't assume someone is capable of stealing when they could be your next best customer. First and last time i'm stepping foot into this sad establishment. I'd rather support businesses that respect their customers. Never have I been treated like this in another vintage or thrift shop. Almost every time I pass by this store, I find that it is closed. However, I stopped here one day…read moreand saw furniture outside and the back yard was open. I went inside and met this older gentleman (who seemed like he liked to drink a lot of alcohol for some reason) and he showed me around in the back. He said that the owner was not there very often, because he was always in different shows. When he is not there, the house was kept closed. I wanted so much to enter the house, but was pleased when I saw all the assortment they had in that very LONG back yard. The furniture and other items were quite dirty and dusty, but there were so many beautiful old things to see. Really old furniture with wonderful carvings and details, old wrought iron garden items, old paintings, etc. etc. I really liked going around the back yard and spent quite a bit of time there. I ended up choosing a gorgeous antique print in an equally beautiful antique carved frame. I was prepared to pay at least $50, because I was already totally in love with it, when the gentleman gave it to me for $10. I was not about to complain. I wish that the store can be open on more regular hours, so that I can see what's inside the house. The old gentleman told me that the owner kept the "really nice stuff" in there!

They have lots of whimsical home decorations, kitchenware, linens, jewelry, figurines, soap, body lotion, and much more. The shop has a cozy cottage vibe. I visited there recently and thoroughly enjoyed slowly going through the shop and checking out all the charming treasures. One of the things I really liked was a Hazel Atlas children's tea set in pastel-colored milk glass from the 1940s-50s (see pic). I also saw a nice secondhand Kate Spade bag for only $42. The women working there were very friendly and chatty. I understand they get new inventory all the time, so I plan to go back soon.

There is something for everyone, you just have to really really look. It's a small space but crammed with precious stock. Chris the owner was so sweet and fun! Full of advice and knowledge about small businesses and stories about fashion pieces. This is a lady I could hang with! We would have so much fun! She was even trying to give me a discount and I told her; no need as small businesses suffer enough. I was just grateful that she offered. To me the experience and fun I had was well worth every penny. She was super happy and grateful that I purchased from her shop. I will be back to visit Chris and find more treasure pieces!
