Everything is high quality, so no matter if you are popping in for some quick fixings for lunch at home, or sitting down for coffee and a sandwich, you will not be disappointed with the delicious options to savor.

Food shopping is just so much fun and it 's no different in Weeton's. This is farm shopping but in a plush surrounding. Quality assured here and that is a fact. If I say fact then it must be true. What I really love about this place is that it brings the best things about Yorkshire to one place. It's like a deli but on acid. They stock over 1000 different lines of Yorkshire's finest. I defy you to go in and not come out with a sticky toffee pudding or stunning ginger bread house. The bakery really is first class. Yet so is most of it. You'll find teas, wines, meat, vegetables, really smelly cheeses and stock cupboard essentials. The oils are out of this world too. You pay for it but some of the balsamic and dipping oils are just meant to be cracked open on those special occasions. How I can get excited about oil I don't know but in here anything is possible. Great staff and service too and a food shop that doesn't involve trolley-rage or z-list celebrities advertising. Great guns of Harrogate.

Farm basically ticked all the boxes for us (we basically tried to get into their Farm bistro upstairs but it was packed - an hour wait!) - so went back downstairs and sat in their deli shop, enjoying a fairly basic menu but was perfect for what we were after. Great produce, great environment, great prices - my ploughmans was off the hook for £7.95 while my wife enjoyed a really tasty homemade soup with tasty bread for less then a fiver. Seeing as it was an Easter Saturday, I did treat myself to a lunch time beer from Wild Beer (great choice of beer and wine) seeing as I was on my hols ;-) A really cool place to hit, I'm looking forward to going back in the near future!

You could be mistaken that it is just a shop, but it isn't, there is a small cafe downstairs and a larger bistro upstairs. Sadly there wasn't any space in the bistro, but we weren't too perturbed, grabbing the last table in the cafe we picked from the lunch menu. This is not extensive, but it's all local produced and cooked in front of you. I had the homemade cheese and onion quiche with spicy broccoli and sweet potato wedges. Whereas my partner had the ploughman's platter. This had locally sourced cheese, homemade pork pie (delicious!) and the usual ploughman's bits. We were seriously impressed with the quality of the food and also the quality of the service. The cafe also has an extensive shop, we ended up taking home some cake and wine for treats when we got back to Manchester later on that evening- check out the lemon polenta cake, it is divine! We'd go back in a heart beat and we definitely want to try the bistro.

It's nice, kind of reminiscent of the Wheeton's in town (Harrogate). I really enjoy the strong theme of locally sourced high quality food that permeates this place. The employees seem happy which often results in better service, which was the case with my visit today. I like the large open feel of this place combined with the big open windows and the outside tables with umbrellas. The amount of light this place invites gives the cafe section a cheery feel to it. Fee wifi is a plus for yelping of course. I had a Sunday roast and it was a very generous portion. The food was well presented, and wait time was minimal. It was good food, but nothing extraordinary in my experience. But the atmosphere of the place more than compensates to make an overall enjoyable experience and a place I'm likely to revisit soon!

An excellent selection of fruit and veg - it it's in season Fodder will find it. Asparagus (May/June) comes from a farm just over a mile away. The same can be said for strawberries. Meat is from local farms and not only is the selection and quality very good, you can see the butchers in the back rooms cutting the meat up. Chuck in a great cheese counter, lots of local beer, cured meats, chocolates, sweets and puddings... It's a fine establishment. Doing a full weekly shop might not be possible but for a few choice bits and pieces Fodder is a lovely place to visit. Oh, and knowledgeable staff who aren't afraid to smile - that's always going set a place ahead of the competition!
