Portions are big here and the slices of rye were quite thick but surprisingly not overfilling. It was a very, very good sandwich and the homemade chips made it a great lunch entree. The cinnamon roll French toast also gets a good review for being tasty and the fruit bowl offered a good selection. The noise level was average and our dining experience memorable.

I would expect some bread and butter at the table. When we asked they said they didn't "do that" they did make us some burnt pieces of toast with olive oil. It was gross. What I will say, and what saves this review at 4 stars are the chefs working on an old school wood burning adjustable rack system with an open to see galley and cooking the steaks to absolute perfection.

For the area this is pricey and we didn't feel like the food quite stood up to the price. Nothing terribly wrong just lacking a bit of flavor here and there. I would be open to trying again for another meal!
