Make up your own mind if these guys sloppy or slick talking scammers…read more They talk a great talk and explain everything - so you feel informed and confident. Here are the facts to my experience: - They left the main cover off the engine so I had to go back and get it. They lost the special screws for it and had to order more. - They replaced my front speed sensors on each wheel but didn't bolt the actuals sensors in (neither side). A week later the ABS and Traction lights came back on. That's what happens when speed sensors flop around. - Before I found unbolted new sensors issue my wife took the car back and they said the ABS+Traction light was not a speed sensor issue but was due to needing a catalytic converter ($2500 - which Dixie Muffler fixes for $500) or starter coil issue ($600) - not a speed sensor issue. - They also said they they pulled codes that were different than what I had pulled that morning - very strange. - I didn't trust them so I picked up the car and it 'limped' without power. On the side of the road I looked under the hood and saw no issue. Got to the muffler place, had a new cat converter put in, still the car still limped. I looked under the hood and saw that the connector to the starter coil looked plugged in but was not. I sqeezed the connection and it slid 1 mm and snapped closed making the connection. The car drove fine. Why were they even messing with that part of the car. What was their intent? Was I set up for a scam? You bet. Did all their detailed explainations make sense? They sounded smart and confident, but they contradicted my findings and 1000's of hours of working on cars and 'invented' an issue that would have been hard to see through if I didn't have engine experience. Did I spend lots of time and money? Yes - and most was created by them.

They looked over my car first thing and gave me a call to discuss their recommendations. They started with the easiest and least expensive option to troubleshoot my problem, and did not try to sell me on thousands of dollars of things that might be the issue up front. It turns out, thankfully, the easiest solution worked, and I was able to pick up my car the same day. Few places, in my experience, provide this kind of conscientious service any more in the automotive industry. I am really grateful to have found them.

Here is a link to the story: https://www.wdrb.com/news/police-see-spike-in-catalytic-converter-thefts-in-louisville-say-crime-happens-in-minutes/article_f5d1c8d0-6498-11eb-9ce6-0b879655268a.html I don't live in the area where I was employed and I had no idea who to call when I discovered this theft/vandalism. Therefore, I started looking at online reviews in order to find a reputable, local repair shop. I finally chose Louisville Automotive Shop. I took my vehicle to this establishment because of their great reviews. Throughout the process of trying to get my car repaired, I had several issues with my insurance company. They were a week late getting an adjuster to assess the damage. Then, the estimate they provided was garbage because the quote consisted of the incorrect parts and labor needed for the repair. That was just the beginning of how inefficient and time consuming this nightmare process became. Nermin is the owner of this established business. He took over this tedious process and turned out to be my saving Grace in this scenario. His first experience was when the towing company, assigned by my insurance provider, was delivered my vehicle to the wrong address. The shop was closed that day and Nermin took his day off to find the car several doors down the street. It was left in a random parking lot, unlocked, with the keys openly visible in the center console cup holder. He took the car to his shop and parked it inside the locked garage. Unfortunately, that was just the beginning of a long, arduous process. The insurance company was not willing to provide the financial reimbursement needed for repairs and the whole process. I was told that this process should be approximately 3 to 4 days took 3-4 weeks. I could have never gotten my repair completed without the assistance of the owner, Nermin. He even gave me his personal cell phone number in case I needed him after the shop hours. He also called me to check in every few days to keep me notified of the "progress" regarding the repair. He fixed the vehicle within 2 days after the insurance company finally did their job. The icing on the cake was that he delivered my vehicle to my home, which is VERY FAR out of their delivery area. Nermin prides himself on being fair, ethical, friendly and knowledgeable business man. He will make sure that your repair is completed in the correct manner and that you leave a happy patron. You can't go wrong with this amazing local automotive shop!

Now I am fully aware of the Audi oil problems but when I was going to Firestone, I would never have an issue immediately after. I won't be back because it might be cheaper than Firestone but it's not worth me having to put more oil in my car after I've paid them $80 for an oil change! Don't waste your time
