Okay so I love this little spot in Mystic! Away from the main street chaos and with a parking lot…read morewere the first perks! The Life on Marizpan latte was incredible - got it iced and the flavor was amazing! All flavor shots are made in house. Kids had the lemonade - also fresh and in house. Shared a large cheese pizza and devoured! The baked goods looked delicious! I will say - the donuts were sold out when we were there at noon so we will definitely will be back for everything we tried and hopefully donuts next time too!

There were a lot of intriguing options to choose from. I had the chilaquiles ($15) and a Cacio Pepe doughnut ($4). The chilaquiles had corn tortilla chips, salsa Verde, salsa Macha, cotija, white onion, cilantro, and a fried egg. The chips appeared to be homemade, and they were tremendous along with the salsa Verde and Macha. There was a nice kick to the salsas and a perfect crunch from the chips. However, it just felt like the dish was mostly chips. I felt like more toppings could be added or an additional egg. The fried egg was also a little overcooked, guess when ordering, we could have specified how we wanted it to be cooked. The doughnut was okay. The sourdough base was very solid, but essentially just a lot of cheese on top. I was not sure what to expect regarding this type of doughnut, but this was the least optimal choice. Will I go back? I would.

This is an aggressively overpriced, gimmick-driven operation that prioritizes social-media optics…read moreover competence, safety, or coffee quality. The entire setup feels careless and amateurish, from the chaotic workflow to the lack of basic crowd and traffic control. The parking situation is not just inconvenient--it's unsafe. With no barriers, no clear flow, and vehicles cutting through pedestrian areas, it's shocking that no serious incident has occurred yet. Operational standards are poor. Sanitation practices are questionable, including uncovered ice being transported from outdoor areas after being placed on the ground. That alone should concern anyone paying premium prices. The drinks themselves are little more than sugar delivery systems with a token splash of espresso. Flavor is buried under syrups and sweeteners, masking what appears to be low-quality coffee. Nothing here feels original; it's a collection of copied concepts executed badly. Service is slow, the product is inconsistent, and the pricing is unjustifiable. This isn't a serious coffee shop--it's a novelty stand selling sugar and spectacle at inflated prices. Better coffee, faster service, and safer conditions can be found almost anywhere else, for far less money.

If you are in a rush, I definitely recommend ordering ahead. I love their flavor options and monthly specials. Their drinks are always delicious and on point. The staff is super friendly as well. I highly recommend as a must top! I love about 30 minutes away and try to stop by as frequently as possible. It's worth the drive.
