We bought a new home with builder grade (really bad) landscaping in 2024, and decided that we wanted to take out everything (trees, shrubs, lawn) and start over including adding a swing arbor, pavers, vegetable beds, screening shrubs, new large trees, and multiple trellises. We have moved into 7 different houses over the years and improved each home's landscaping ourselves. This time we wanted someone else to do the work and were fortunate to find Archer Services. We were 100% satisfied with every part of the design and installation process. Michael listened to what we wanted in both visual appeal and functionality, and developed a design; Aaron put it together visually with a 3D design and answered all our detailed questions; Alex helped us get the design approved through a very challenging HOA process; and Ryan led his superb crew to execute the design while keeping us informed on progress and any issues. The finished product looks exactly like the design that Michael and Aaron originally presented to us. Another very satisfied Archer Services customer!

After a patio addition, my backyard was completely destroyed but Green Springs stepped in and fixed everything and more in less than 2 days. Not only did they have great communication and updated me with every step, but they also went above and beyond and did more work than I expected. I'm extremely pleased with how my backyard turned out and they did it at almost half the cost of some of the other quotes I received. If you are looking for exceptional work that is affordable, I would highly recommend Green Springs! Will definitely continue to work with them for any landscaping projects I have come up.

Review One thing…read morethat has been bothering us for almost a year is the lack of new growth with our 2 sago palms due to the aggressive frond defoliation done by Leo (Owner) and (his son) Oscar. One saga palm is over 50 years old and the other is approximately 25 years old. Both sago palms have been through hard weather and freeze then recovered with nice new growth. However, there has been zero new growth. Mistakes Made Defoliating Sago Plants * Removing all the fronds from a sago palm seriously harmed the palms. * The sago palms lost the ability to photosynthesize, so they can't produce food. * No new fronds for 11+ months Mulching Done Wrong * Doing mulch wrong can absolutely kill plants. * The most common mistake is "volcano mulching" piling mulch against tree trunks or plant stems--which traps moisture, rots the bark, and invites pests. My husband noticed this volcano-like mounds around both sago palms. No Solutions Offered * Email sent with photos * Phone calls made * One phone call to Stanley seemed promising then radio silence. * No offer for replacement * No offer to remove the sago palms. * Safe Disposal Warning * Extreme Toxicity: Sago palms contain cycasin, a potent toxin that is deadly to dogs, cats, and horses. * Safe Handling: Wear heavy work gloves and long sleeves. Double-bag all debris or haul it immediately to a secure municipal green-waste facility where animals cannot access it. Consequently, No Good Review

Jordan comes out to provide you with a fair quote, followed by their crew coming out a few days/weeks later. The crews for JN Landscaping are very professional. The quality of work is off the charts, and they clean up like they were never there. As mentioned, JN has done many jobs for me and my neighbors and we've been extremely happy with the results and how things have held up & look years later. Give these folks a try and you will be happy!

The mosquitos were very happy with the set up but my family, not so much. I had been through multiple other landscaping companies and even our builder trying to resolve this problem with no luck at all. Some wouldn't show up or others didn't speak English. My builder was no help with his landscape and grading guy didn't even get back to us. My wife and I were beyond frustrated. After more reading reviews on google, Facebook, and next-door, we asked JN Landscaping & Jordan to come by and give us some ideas how he would fix this. He showed up exactly when Skylar at his home office said he would. He was great, saw our problems and was quick to provide us some options, various ideas, and a day later the quote we went with. I won't say it was the lowest nor the highest price but his work is spot on. His guys were here every day early and worked all the way to dark. The work is clean and it looks like our drainage is fixed. I will not lie. We had some challenges and changes in our designs but Jordan took the time to walk us through it even after late hours. I cannot appreciate his patience with my wife and I enough and we're very happy with the results. We also had a couple change orders too after seeing all that Jordan and his team can do. We added more Sod and even fixed several sprinkler heads that were not spraying our areas we needed watered. He and his team have a very deep set of abilities to help resolve all your landscape needs. I plan to come back to Jordan and JN Landscaping later this year to work on another project to build us a firepit area with lights and a path from our back porch. I cannot wait to see what he and his team are able to come up with. If you need a landscape company to help you with your landscape needs, make sure you give Jordan a call. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Jordan and Skylar for all you did to help us. My wife and I cannot appreciate you and your team enough..

I have what you could call a "special needs" fence, deck, and yard. Electrical lights and outlets on the fence posts, an extra wide gate in the rear for bringing in a washing machine one day, removeable deck panel for access to AC lines, wanted the deck built on concrete blocks instead of chopping post holes into my driveway and live oak tree roots, pet turtles in the yard, and a koi pond that it was essential to not disturb the filter or plumbing or connections. Other companies didn't understand what I was needing, argued with me, or didn't speak English. But all DWS said was: Yes, yes, yes. My experience with contractors is that they're bulldozers, and I fully expected my yard and items to be trashed. Not with DWS. They carefully removed the electrical and then replaced it on the new fence posts - everything works. I had cleared the space as well as possible, but there were still items they had to move. All my garden décor, windchimes, turtle pen, etc. were preserved and neatly set where I could find them. Best of all, there was no damage to the pond, plumbing, or garden. They even did some "extra" things, like haul off pots that were too heavy for me, and trim a few branches on a baby tree. They didn't start too early (no morning noise to bother neighbors), and they wrapped up mid-afternoon. They use quick-set cement, so they can dig a post hole, erect the post, and then add rails and pickets all on the same day. They worked incredibly hard in July heat, and finished job a day early. Cleaned the driveway, sidewalk, and yard of all debris. A few things should have been hashed out better ahead of time. Type of gate hardware and locks, pergola / shade cover, retaining wall, moved the fenceline in 6" (made my yard smaller), cutting a limb off my precious live oak tree. Luckily, some of these were discussed the day before install, and were able to make last minute changes, with price adjustments where appropriate. The price for about 100' of cedar fencing and two modest decks was a gasp moment - but in line with other companies. The 50% deposit was daunting, esp for an outfit I knew nothing about, but it's in line with industry standards. Plus, they didn't ask for it until the week before install. Easy on-line pay, good communicators. The finished fence is sturdy, beautiful, and pickets all straight along the top. They hide the gate hinges for a neat look. Decks are exactly what I asked for. As an example of detail, a portion of my deck goes around the oak tree. Instead of cutting a circle out of the deck to accommodate the tree trunk, they cut the boards into pie slice-shaped wedges, so the boards fit around the tree like a pinwheel. ! This had to take amazing engineering, measuring, and cutting. Folks, there was no need to do this. This is a small deck in the back of the yard that's going to be covered with lawn chairs and potted plants and no one will ever see (except me). I can only think they did this out of obsession with detail, and had fun with the math and logistics. When they left, Dan shook my hand and told me he offers a 150% guarantee. Indeed, as the summer went on and lack of rain caused the fenceposts to shift and the gate started sticking, they came back twice to make adjustments. There's more good stuff to tell, but I'm hitting the word limit. Bottom line, I couldn't be more pleased with the people, quality, workmanship, and professionalism. You will be, too.

When researching fence companies, I bid my project out to several local businesses using the exact same specifications so I was getting an apples-to-apples comparison. DWS came in with the best price. When I requested a change to the original project scope after starting, they were transparent about the additional cost and provided a timely and fair change order. They were hit with multiple weather events, which delayed our project and subsequent projects they had on the books after ours unfortunately too. Despite the delays, Dan never rushed anything or cut corners and got the job done right. They operate honestly and would recommend to anyone looking to install a new fence.
