I'd met David, the technician who did the work at my house on several occasions. Honest and straightforward, easy to communicate with, thorough and helpful. They had my credit card on file and a key to my house so they could more easily schedule and perform the work. This is the level of trust and satisfaction I had with them. Sadly, for whatever reason they sold out to a larger company, which is not local to Show Low, but based in Mesa. Neither company notified me of this change. Thus far I'm leery of Bulwark because of their unbending policies to: * record every telephone call (even if the customer requests otherwise), * number every customer and refer to them by number rather than name, * coerce all customers into contracts with legalistic, corporate terms and conditions, * push for automated billing, and * treat customers as if they're commodities to be bought and sold along with companies that Bulwark has swallowed up along its growth trajectory. Anyway this is about Saline Pest Management, and good memories. I guess the downside of doing business with small family-owned companies is that someday the folks want to retire and do other things with their time. I wish them well and thank them for their service.

    I started with weed service almost 2 years ago. Their product could not kill my weeds. Had to…read morecancel that service, and do it myself. Pest control. Very disappointed. Was paying for pest treatments every 60 days. About 5 weeks after a treatment, I had ants coming up everywhere, and requested a "free" "satisfaction guaranteed" retreatment. Because it took bulwark a while to respond (weather/scheduling/whatever) I was told that retreatment would be my next "scheduled service". It had not been 60 days. This was wrong. I expressed my dissatisfaction through email, and spoke with a rep on 8-12-25. I was told 'tough titty', and that I owed bulwark $76 for the respray. What a rotten business practice. Bulwark calls this "satisfaction guaranteed". I say, cancel my service at my home, and for the sake of their coveted $76, I would certainly not keep a $2,000+ per year business account with them. Not very smart. Not at all honest.

I told the woman I talked to I didn't want to…read moreuse the glue traps and she explained they would put some sort of deterent in and then come back in a couple of weeks to see if they needed to spray in the walls. I had mentioned mice a number of times so figured that was great. When the exterminator turned up, he called me when the woman that was living in the house told him I didn't want glue sheets and that the only other option was traps that had to be checked daily. I mentioned the woman I talked to had said that wasn't what the woman I talked to told me and I'd already tried setting traps - live and others and they did work well at all. I called the company and said this was not what I was told and they needed to better train the people making appointments. She then said they I would not be billed. She then talked to the exterminator and he very quickly packed up and left. I then received a bill for $50 for the call and sent it back with a note that they said they would not bill me and never heard from them again.

    Contacted Neff to exterminate pests at my property near Snowflake, AZ…read more Expensive, but I agreed to use them. In October or so, they contacted me via text asking if they could service again. If they agreed to take some extra pictures and send, I would allow it and even offered to pay for the extra photos. They did not take payment - their choice - and sent me some photos. Then, in December, again asked to service my property. I said I needed more photos. They agreed to send more. I was sent another text, "oops, he forgot to take the other photos." I said the next day would be OK for them to get and send the pix. They trotted out something about '...in your area again...", refusing to do what they agreed to do. I contacted them at least 3 times after 2 weeks went by and no response. They ignoreed me for another week before any response. It was long, drawn out and an attempt to divert the issue: "... we don't take photos, we're a pest ..." and the like for 2 pages. A really nasty, condescending response trying to bleme me or something else. Disparaged me for attempting to get what I paid for. The service on my property was contingent upon receiving the extra photos. Period. They agreed to do it. Had they refused, they would not have been allowed to service my property at all! They blamed their poor / lack of response on them not knowing how to read email from outside the office (gmail!!!) and they could not figure out what I was wanting since the main staff was AWOL and the ones left apparently can not read a service order! They had said before that the extra photo requirement was ON the ORDER! What do you call that???!!! They also made statements and, along with their historical behavior, alarmed me to the distinct possibility of them vandalizing my property in retaliation for the charge-back I told them I was filing since they failed to meet their agreed-to obligations. I had to notify the local Sheriff to protect my property in case they tried to damage anything. Over the course of a few months, they were paid nearly $1,000.00 in total and refused to send photos they agreed to as a condition of service. I long for the day I can find a single vendor in the Navajo county area that is not a crook or incompetent or a cheat.
