On the second day we tried to get hold of people and everyone was unavailable. We have been told they were going to come back to tarpot that day but they did not. Early this morning we heard from the head contractor who had been out of town. He was very upset about the situation. He said that that was not their policy. That they had a requirement that everything be covered before people went home for the day. As a result of the issue, they are intending to compensate us in some fashion. The biggest thing is that the house is covered now. They have almost completed the roof and said they will be back on Monday. At this time I am satisfied with what they're doing, will update this review at the end of the contract.

We supplied the stone pavers for the walkway. The walkway is fine. The real problem I had is with…read morethe workers and their inexcusable lack of consideration, laziness, carelessness. I don't even know what to call it when you hide construction material on the client's property! Short version: Do NOT hire. You've been warned. Edit 1: #6: I just learned that my wife asked them to put the dirt there. However, they buried in the dirt rocks and debris to hide more leftovers from the job. Edit 2: I don't post reviews anywhere. This is my first-ever review on yelp, and I created an account just to post this review/warning. Take heed. TUESDAY 1. During the deconstruction phase of removing what was already present, they removed the large paving stones (like flag stone) and put them in my yard. Over the course of 2 days, it killed the grass that was under them. 2. They dumped a load of stone directly onto my yard (how are you going to remove the unused stone from the yard?). There was an area of concrete driveway that could have been used, had they communicated the need. THURSDAY/FRIDAY 3. Interestingly, for the load of sand, they actually put down a tarp on my yard. A little leftover sand in my yard wouldn't have been a concern... 4. During the actual construction (Thursday/Friday), they chipped/broke/shaped the rock to fit the walkway - in my yard. They left sharp shards of chipped rock in my yard! 5. They took some of the larger pieces of broken rock and hid them on my property. I found them about a week later. 6. They took extra material (stone, broken/chipped rock, excavated dirt) and piled it up against my house. 7. At the end of each day, they needed to clean out the portable concrete mixer. I discovered that they cleaned it out and dumped the contents in my yard! I had a thin pad of concrete in my yard! SATURDAY 8. I discovered (most of) the mess on Saturday and texted Kathy that the job site needed cleaned up. She texted back that "she would let us know when they would come." I told her to bring a shop vac for the yard. They came back Thursday! No rush... 9. They did NOT clean up the job site (but the concrete waste from the mixer is gone). I was left with 4 tractor buckets full of debris (rocks, dirt, etc) - about 200 gallons of debris that I shoveled and raked up today. This is fact. I'm not exaggerating. I'm still not quite done. I still have to rake and shop vac chipped rock and stones out of my yard. Not only do I not recommend these jokers, I whole-heartedly recommend AGAINST hiring these jokers. They don't care about your yard or the sharp dangers they leave behind. They hide debris around your property. When a clean-up is requested, they take their time getting to you and might as well have not come back anyway. I am rather angry.

Wanted a simple crushed gravel and pavers pathway that would eliminate the mud and yet still allow us to walk to the backyard, get our trashcans, etc. And, we wanted it to look attractive. We had reached out to a few landscapers/contractors to get some bids, but was astonished at how flaky some of them were. But Josh was super professional, arrived on time and provided a very fair bid. He had the best price, plus I really appreciated his detailed explanation and timeframe. I was a little reluctant because they didn't have any reviews on Yelp, but they do have reviews on Google, plus I checked out their work on FB. I'm glad we went with Josh and his team. Straight up awesome. He stayed on top of the communications. I also appreciated being able to pay the deposit for materials via credit card through his invoicing system. There is small fee, but worth it to have the peace of mind. The communications from Josh was great. There was rain, which delayed things, but he always called and texted to keep in touch and plan around the rain. This was super important to me to be kept up to date, which he did. The work was to take place over a few days. On the first day of work they showed up on time and was very professional. I was able to check in on the progress and Josh kept me informed every step of the way. At the end of each day of work they cleaned up, kept the work site organized, and I always knew what was to happen next. The final work was top-notch. Both my wife and I were very happy. It actually turned out a little better than anticipated, which is huge. Happy wife, happy Moe (haha). I would absolutely work with Josh and the Litescape team again and would happily recommend them!
