We hired Daniel Barrla with Desert Diamond Construction for a remodel. He started strong, but the…read morequality quickly fell apart: crooked walls, cracked tile, mismatched drywall, sloppy paint, and even a ceiling leak. When we raised concerns, I suggested a $1,000 reduction since it was clear he wasn't interested in the fine finishes (paints and correction of drywall) Now, with tile failing, he refuses to honor his warranty, saying it's void. For a licensed contractor, the results look unprofessional. Be very cautious before hiring.

During our estimate and survey, Dillon had a vision of something a little more sophisticated than just expanding a white cement slab and I had never even considered what he had proposed, nor could I really picture it at the time, but I trusted him and told him to go for it. I was beyond impressed with the outcome and I'm so glad I trusted his artistic eye! I could not have conceived the upgrade in style, color, and design that a rock motif made out of concrete gave to our whole backyard. The guys were super professional and tidy and we could not be happier with our new backyard.

They removed all cracked and peeling material, applied new adhesive cement over a plastic mesh, then finished off the repairs with an application of synthetic stucco that perfectly matched the color of the existing dwelling. Horacio Enriquez, the firm's owner, speaks English and I had enough Spanish to feel okay communicating with the laborers who did most of the work and were very friendly. We will see how the job weathers over the years, but at the moment I am a satisfied customer.

I sent photos and they gave me a very reasonable quote the morning of the next business day. They showed up on time and got right to work. They worked diligently for three hours and got the job done from start to finish including texture and paint. Very polite and good attitude. They even took the initiative to do some work outside so they didn't wake my sleeping baby. The job quality was very good; there are a few flaws with the texture which is very hard to match on a ceiling patch job, but it's nothing you would notice unless you knew where to look. Overall I'm very happy with their service.
