I was approved for a VA grant to do the conversion. I set out to obtain quotes from multiple contractors. I hired CTG after meeting the supervisor John Roberts. He made it clear that the company would make sure my safety was priority and he assured me he could work with disabled veterans to meet their custom needs. A bench seat was designed to run along the back wall of my shower and grab bars were added in multiple locations in case of a vertigo spell. A handicap height toilet, and slip resistant vinyl tile was also needed. A man named Chris was the main contractor to do labor and installation. He is a seasoned professional and did a superb job laying my slip resistant vinyl bathroom tile. He knew exactly how to lay the tile pattern to make it look fantastic, and paid attention to detail. My shower and the seat he installed is sturdy and beautiful. My shower, tile, and handicap height toilet I am very pleased with. The supervisor John, made sure that I was completely satisfied with the final job. Before the job was started, I was able to meet with the company owner Bobby. He was friendly and answered all my questions. I felt confident in the company from start to finish. I think that this company's goal is customer satisfaction, and CTG as a team accomplished that for me. I will be hiring them again for future home renovation projects and will recommend them to my fellow veterans who may need their homes adapted.

My template was irregular at one spot and I was asked how I wanted that spot cut. I appreciate this attention to detail up front!! After seeing how the Hinotes run their business, I plan to get several other protective glass tops cut for our finer furniture in high traffic spots. Contracted with Aaron Trommelen of Specialty Construction to erect a metal carport from a kit I…read morepurchased from a vendor, and build a wooden platform for metal steps to abut to. This was to be shade and shelter from rain for my camper. After some delays ( Aaron seemed to be doing this as a side job and only when not working on his primary projects) the shelter was completed and looks good, sturdy. The project was abandoned when the camper was backed under the shelter and I went out of town for a month. Yes I know I should not have paid in full until the job was comlplete. I did however pay in full and gave him $3,400- $200 more than I agreed to because I felt the job was good and I trusted him. The platform was never completed by him although upon contact when I got back he said he would. I also discovered the shelter leaks significantly. Eight weeks after the original shelter was completed I finally paid someone else to move the partially constructed platform in place and complete it. The shelter still leaks. It seems Aaron Trommelen is now working out of town. The least he could have done is let me know what was happening. I feel I was very understanding of all of the delays but in the end he stopped responding. Aaron Trommelen of Specialty Construction is not a man of his word and not to be trusted.
