Before choosing Window World, I received quotes from several local companies, and it quickly became clear that their competitors just couldn't match the value. Some companies even warned me not to call Window World.... which honestly made me more curious. Once I saw the quality of the product, the service, and the price point, it was an easy decision. The sales process was thorough and genuinely helpful. My sales man took the time to walk me through all of the options! From standard windows with storm protection to top-tier impact-rated options. He brought visual examples and photos from other jobs, which really helped me picture how different styles would look on my home. I never felt pressured, just well-informed. Once I placed my order, the scheduling process was just as smooth. The office staff was friendly and accommodating, and they worked around my schedule to make sure installation didn't interfere with work. On install day, the crew arrived right at 8am and were completely finished (cleanup and all) by 1pm. They were incredibly respectful of the fact that I was working from home, which I appreciated more than I can say. They walked me through what to expect for the county inspection, left all the appropriate paperwork, and everything passed without a hitch. The windows themselves are fantastic. Beyond the obvious benefits of hurricane protection and a sleek upgrade to my home's curb appeal, they're also smartly designed. I love that the windows can open from either the top or bottom, that the screen slides easily to match, and especially that there's a locking feature that lets me securely crack a window for airflow without compromising security. One of the biggest benefits I've noticed has been the energy efficiency. Before the install, my power bills in the summer easily ranged from $300 - $400/month. Since switching to impact windows, my energy usage has dropped significantly, now averaging between $180 - $230. That kind of savings adds up fast. Start to finish, this was a seamless, professional, and high-quality experience. Window World of Pensacola delivered exactly what they promised and then some. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their windows, especially if you're in a hurricane-prone area or just want to work with a local company that stands by its product. The lifetime warranty is just icing on the cake. Before and after of my older 50s home! Thank you WW of Pcola!

Yesterday, I felt it necessary to write review that wasn't complimentary about my experience with the sales rep who came to our place in Fairhope. I'll leave where it is. But giving credit where it is due, today I had the opportunity to speak directly with Scott--the owner of 1st Choice Home Improvements, who cared enough to call me and apologize, and wanted to know the details. How often do we see THAT these days? A business owner who is present , cares, and is hands-on enough to make a phone call. Scott McCartney, owner of 1st Choice, came across as compassionate and committed, friendly and professional. He reinforced in my mind that his company is a first class organization, in spite of the experience that I had on a "one call close" sales presentation. I think these guys are definitely "legit", but I also recommend getting other bids and educating yourself about your own project before committing.
