He was able to come out same day, appraise the situation with a quote, and get me the repairs needed so that I could go on with my day. Quick, knowledgeable, and professional the way it should be. Would use again and I recommend him for all of your garage door needs in the High Desert area.

We're in the middle of a remodel and our garage door opener stopped working. It's about 15 years…read moreold, so I'm sure it was just age and use. I needed it fixed quickly so the contractor can continue his work without me staying here 24/7. I also wanted a quality opener with a decent price and good workmanship by the installer. I called EZ Garage Door and they met all these requirements with flying colors. I contacted EZ and its owner, Robert, responded immediately. He was on vacation but scheduled me the next day after his vacation ended. He offered me a free inspection to find the problem I was having, but I already was planning to have a new opener installed. As a courtesy, he sent me a list of openers I could have installed, with the total OTD price for whichever one I chose. He had at least 7-8 to choose from. He installs only quality brands and is very knowledgeable of what each can do, which depends on what you want the new opener to do. He arrived at the scheduled time and was ready to install immediately, since I had already chosen the opener I wanted. Robert is extremely knowledgeable and very prepared to do the job. He had to work around a "remodel in process", but had no issues or problems with the situation. He said it would take about 90 minutes to complete the job: 60 to complete the installation and 30 to explain any and all nuances of my new opener. The installation was very clean and professional. I not only want quality but appearance as well. It must be good AND look good. Robert was excellent! It looks clean. He spent the last few minutes explaining all the new functions of my new opener and how to use them. If you haven't purchased an opener in years, BE READY FOR AN EXPERIENCE! They have modernized the opener to meet today's automation. My business with EZ Garage Doors was a great experience. Robert is young, knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. He's clean, organized and leaves no trace of even being here. He truly deserves a 5 star rating, and if you're looking to replace or upgrade your opener, this is the place to go. There are a couple more I would consider doing business with because I've dealt with them before, but Robert is the cream of the crop. One guy, working with quality parts and offering professional installation, is rare in this day and age. If you need work done, start your search here and work down. Robert and EZ Garage Door & Opener Repair is at the top of the list.

Previously, we had been told by another contractor that we immediately needed to replace everything and was given an $1,100 quote. Paul and his partner (I think his name was Ron - my apologies for not remembering!) not only said that it wasn't necessary, but easily fixed the issue as well as explained in detail as to what the issue was in the first place. And on top of their refreshing honesty, they also cut me a break on the repair costs. We will eventually need to get a new door and we will 100% be using Do It Right Garage Doors. From beginning to end, they were consummate professionals whom I would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat!

I have to admit, I was extremely happy with the service and the quality of work from beginning to end. Plus, these guys being so personable is very refreshing. I've already recommended them to a few of my neighbors. Excellent work guys! I would definitely hire them again.

He was one of the most responsive contractors I contacted. From the very beginning, he patiently answered all of my questions and addressed every concern I had through Yelp chat. He explained the repair process clearly, discussed pricing upfront, and never made me feel rushed or pressured. His professionalism and customer service alone gave me the confidence to move forward with him. When the appointment day came, he showed up exactly on time, which I really appreciated. He quickly assessed the issue, replaced the torsion spring efficiently, and made sure everything was working properly before leaving. The entire job was done smoothly and professionally, and you could tell he takes pride in his work. What could have been a stressful situation turned into a very easy and positive experience. He also re-aligned one of the door rails, which had clearly been crooked, and restored the garage door to proper working order. He adjusted and leveled everything, then took the time to explain the expected lifespan of the new spring compared to the previous one. While the original spring was slightly higher quality, we needed the door repaired as quickly as possible, and Mike provided exactly the prompt service and quality components we needed. We'll absolutely be returning for future work when it's time to replace the spring on our other garage door. Mike was professional, worked efficiently, and demonstrated the expertise of a true craftsman. We were especially grateful to have our garage door fully operational again within just two hours of the spring and cables failing.

After many years with no issues with my garage door and seal, I thought it was about time to get it…read morefixed after I saw it had small tears here and there. I thought that since the ladies were nice and attentive, it would reflect on their quality of work too, but I was greatly mistaken. With all the rain that's happened, a huge amount of water has leaked INSIDE my garage, which never happened before I got the seal replaced. After I called and complained, the man who installed the new seal came back and told me that the problem was with my garage floor being uneven, which is irrelevant and not the issue. The second time I called because of continuous leakage, the same man came, and PERSONALLY squeezed the rubber seal and saw the water leak from inside. He said he didn't know what to do and would talk to the owner, who would call me back. They never did, and I finally went in person to resolve this issue, and the owner didn't have an answer or a solution, and didn't want to refund my money after I told her they could uninstall the seal. This is my money that they are keeping for their poor quality of work, plus no apologies or attempts to find a solution. Very bad service overall. ***UPDATE!*** Shirley (the owner) reached out to me after the review I posted. She called to tell me I was rude and wanted me to remove it. She had two opportunities to resolve this matter, one in person before the review, the other over the phone after the review. I asked for answers, she "didn't know" even though she makes the decision(s). She wasn't interested in what I was explaining. The service was paid for and it wasn't for free, and there wasn't a discount or anything of that sort. I didn't ask for a refund; however, that's all she can do at this point since the issue is much worse now, not to mention the hassle and trouble it caused me personally. That doesn't include my time or my inconvenience. Apparently, that was out of the question to even mention it. God knows we work hard for our money and any paying customer deserves decent service at the very least. If she can't solve the problem or provide answers, why is she worried about the review instead of trying to come up with answers and/OR solutions? Please do your research, and don't make the same mistake I did. The experience was awful and the job was trash. I was in no way, shape or form disrespectful to her and she hung up on me while I was still speaking. I won't even bother sharing the details from the phone call. All I know for sure is that this is bad business. As for the review, it's already too late as far as I'm concerned, and she's not trying to help me. Thanks for reading and have a blessed day!
