We brought my daughter here for her 7th birthday for her 1st Build- A- Bear experience! Evan was great help and welcomed us at the door with a big smile. He helped my daughter with the selection of a heart and special voice message to add personalization to her bear. He even helped pick out a "roar" for her little brother's dinosaur. Such a pleasure being served with a smile and enthusiasm! My daughter was all smiles and had a great experience at Build- A- Bear thanks to Evan and his team member! I didn't have high expectations to begin with after reading all the google reviews and yelp reviews so I guess my experience was as expected. We came here for my daughter's 1st birthday bear and on a Thursday evening, it was pretty empty (but as is the rest of the mall, unsurprisingly). The staff were helpful, less than enthused (but again, not surprised after reading reviews). The person stuffing the bear was really sweet though. She had a great time choosing her bear--she had a choice between a dark brown birthday bear or a tan colored birthday bear. Aside from the birthday bear choices, there was a huge selection of stuffed animals you could choose from. If it weren't for her birthday, the bear probably would've cost $14 at the minimum, but since we did "pay-your-age", we paid $1 for her bear (taxes not included). Definitely a great value and she has loved playing with her bear since then. Highly recommend for your littles' birthdays, but come in not expecting a disneyland sort of experience. Don't expect the staff to make your day (or your kid's day), I'd go in expecting to make the experience fun for your kiddo yourself. Managing expectations will be key to your experience. read more

I bought a stuffed animal online, but I never received an email or confirmation of the order. I checked my credit card, no payment, so I bought another one. Well two got delivered and now I need to return one so I can get a refund but they make me pay shipping. It took three emails for them to say no to me for a full refund. I had a good experience at the store from the help of Ruby the store manager, and the assistant manager Sarah because of my bears nose looking crooked and Ruby was more than happy to help me get it fixed to where I left Feeling good about my purchase. Sarah was so polite and kind and patient. She was an expert stuffer and made sure my furry friend was better than excepted, I'm so happy with the outcome. Sarah was amazing! I don't think we'll be back! The stuffables have become very expensive and they do not have a great selection. The lady that was filling the bears was very short with the children and it seemed like we were inconveniencing her. She showed zero excitement and it really put a damper on my kids excitement. You now have to pay for the cardboard box that the bears just used to come in. It just wasn't a pleasant experience and I'd much rather spend my money else where. read more

When we went there was not much of options but my kid was having fun so it was wutevr its fine, the lady that helped us Becca was super nice BUT VERY TALKATIVE, told us her whole life story out of random. Do not mind a person that can talk AND WORK but she clearly could not do both. It was incredibly frustrating because my son was just waiting and waiting and got super anxious and she would take her sweet a$$ time just talking and talking and omg we didnt know how to tell her to please stop my child wants his bear. Yesterday was the pay your age event, while most stores closed their lines early and some even closed their doors early not this location. We got to the store at 3 pm and we were able to wait in line. (Yes $15 off vouchers were offered ) but we decided to wait 8 & 1/2 hrs later we made it into the store. The staff greeted my kids with a smile and store manager thanked us for hanging in there. We were among the last 5 families to enter and they still had a great selection of bears to choose from so much so that my kids got the bears they originally wanted. The ladies at the store were great and smiled for the kids and made the experience great even with them being there since opening. We walked out of the store at 11:30 pm. So kudos and thank you's to the wonderful staff my kids love there bears. read more

I haven't been to build a bear in probably 10 years. I went here to make a Valentine's Day gift and had a great experience. I didn't catch the two ladies names but they were so sweet and I got in and out pretty quick! Everything was well stocked and clean and organized. If I ever need to get a build a bear I will go to this location every time. :) read more

Whenever we go, everyone, and I do mean everyone is so patient and kind to our children. High quality plush. Be prepared to drop a load of cash, though, it's pricey, and the kids will want all of the optional accessories. That is the way it is and for a sometimes treat, it's great. read more

We enjoyed our visit. We took our kids for the first time since moving. The staff was very friendly. The store was not crowded which was a plus since two of my kids are special needs. They were very accomadating to our kids. They had a great selection. They kept checking on us throughout our visit. The prices weren't too bad either. I went in on the Saturday after Christmas with my 2 boys. I walked in a pleasantly saw they were doing buy one get one for $10. My kids had A gift card for $50 each so we explained to them they could get a bear with clothes or 2 bears. They chose 2 bears. It was very busy And there was not clear instructions on what to do nor anyone to greet you to explain. I stood in line to get the bears stuffed when the girl asked if we wanted voice boxes. My kids wanted them so I got them for one bear each. She was not very pleasant and after getting the voice boxes she asked for the next person in line and totally dismissed me. I stood there like an idiot for 5 minutes waiting to then get stuffed but was rudely informed that I had to go to the back of the line. When I had first gotten in line there was no one behind me and by the time I had to apparently get back in line there were about 10 people. There was no information on what to do and because they were busy they didn't spend any time to help. The one girl that did the sound boxes seemed unpleasant and gave no interest to you as a person. I would have happily waited longer if I felt like I was a valued customer and was given instruction on how the experience was supposed to go. This should be a whole experience not just an in and out as quick as you can store. I still have 5 stars because my kids love their bears and they enjoyed going and at the end of the day it's the kids experience at build a bear that matters. read more
