We recently used KC Pest Control this summer for preventative house treatment. Specifically as…read moresummer was in full bloom and we wanted to be ahead of any little bugs that wanted to make there way in our home. Our first appointment was prompt and the man who came out to spray was professional and thorough. A couple weeks after our house spray- we noticed ants coming out in our master bathroom and had never seen so many of them in our home. My husband gave a call back and they came out to do a respray in the areas where the ants had emerged from. Unfortunately, the second spray did not do the trick. About month after our very first spray we noticed even more ants in our master bathroom and our laundry room. When i used to live in Florida, I used to use pest control services and I quite acustomed to have more bugs appear after treatment, but they were usually dead by that point or after a few weeks they would be non-existent. This has not been the case here. When we called back to inform KC Pest Control that we are still seeing the emergence of ants without any difference since the re-spray the woman on the phone informed us that they have a 30 day policy for any re-sprays and past that point we need to pay an additional fee. This was really frustating because we did have a re-spray within that first 30 day window and that re-spray only made things worse after a few weeks. We were not okay with paying again for a treatment that hasn't proven to work for us after paying $200 the first time just over a month ago. All in all, I was disappointed by the level of customer empathy and willingness to help. We since moved to another local company.

We got on their every-other-month plan a few years ago. We were told there would be no charge for…read moreservice if we had problems between treatments. Well, that is a complete lie. During the last year, we had to call them out a few times for extra service, and we paid every single time. My husband called. Somehow, we had been changed to the plan for every six weeks, despite having signed a contract otherwise. Fast forward to December 2025, and I saw a mouse or two. We live across from a creek and greenbelt, so this is not surprising. My husband called, and the next morning, I arrived home from an errand to find a gentleman spraying insecticide outside my home. It was not time for that, and we weren't having insect problems. What in the world? I approached him about the mice, and he had not been told that we had mice. This was quite off-putting. I told him where I saw the two mice that I had seen, nowhere near my kitchen, and he insisted that they were in the kitchen. He put down several glue traps, walked away, and we were charged another $100+. Merry Christmas! One of the glue traps that I insisted be placed outside the kitchen did, in fact, catch a mouse (NONE of the kitchen traps have caught anything). We put traps that we purchased in a few closets where we found evidence, and have since caught four more, nowhere near the kitchen. Yes, we know we had a serious problem. I think we're near the end of this thing, because our fabulous dog, who has become quite the avid mouser, is not on alert anymore. Regardless, we will not be using White Knight to help with this, or anything else in the future.

Avoid. Was with them almost two years and decided to cancel…read morefor a few reasons: More than one occasions I've had technicians arrive smelling like weed. Rush jobs. They would be inside their trucks parked on the street longer then they would be at my residence. I was still getting earwigs I have bees and a beehive, but they claim the chemicals are natural and won't affect them. Here's the fun part, when you cancel service they will first try and convince you to stay, and if that doesn't work they will bully you into staying by bullshit charges even if you fulfilled your contract. Here's your $159.96 and your crappy review and I will run your people out of my neighborhood, I might even post flyers of your shitty orkinman reject work. And your phone operator, she's a bully and a piece of shit.
