She then continued to take our order. The food was really good. When our check came we were charged $5 dollars x 2 for our bone in wings and an upcharge for onion rings. None of these charges were explained to us while the waitress what taking our order. I came in last night to pick up another order for a service with which I'm a delivery driver. I've come into this establishment many times and have only had this incident happen once before with the same cashier. I showed the cashier my phone with my name of the order. She came back with the delivery and stated that I needed to select to start my delivery trip while inside the property, again. I explained that I'm new to the area and that I use my Android Auto to deliver, and if I slide that without it being connected I will sometimes lose my order information. She went back and got another person and I explained this to her and asked if she could then come to my car and watch what I'm saying. She came out and saw the screen jump to the car after adding my USB cable and said that they will not be able to bring the food out every time. I called my support team and they stated that this was not something that is required for me to do inside the store. I explained that this has only happened one other time with the same person at night. Anytime that I pick up in the day there is no issue. I show my order from my phone, like everyone else who picks up, and then take the food and deliver as normal. I received another order to pick up from the same store. I showed the same girl my phone with the name on the order. She went back and the same person who came to my car came out with the order, but then refused to give it to me. I asked if she would come out again with me and she refused and said that this is there policy and I would need to slide to start my delivery while inside the store. I refused and asked for a manager. This scenario took place right at the doorway where all of the customers could hear what was being said. She became irritated and asked me to leave the store. I waited for a manager and he did finally come out and state the same policy. I asked him, "When did this policy take effect, just with me tonight?", he stated that it should have been in effect months ago as people have been taking food and not delivering it. I asked him if he were able to see my profile and he said that he could. I then said that I am a "Diamond" driver and have always made my deliveries unless a person did not give the correct address or did not answer for the delivery. Each time that happens it is documented by our Support Team, who monitors our driving as well. If this was a new policy it should be in writing for our support to be able to disclose to every driver. Not just someone that doesn't look like them. I felt like I was being profiled and discriminated against. I tried calling the number for the manager, Amy Campbell, that's printed by the door but it kept looping and telling me to go to the website, and then disconnect my call. So, here I am. I was fortunate to have my son video the whole incident, as a white man came out with a bag in both hands without starting his orders for delivery inside the store. The second, traditional buffalo sauce, tasted nothing like any buffalo sauce I've ever had. It just wasn't enjoyable and unrecognizable as buffalo flavor. Stephanie the manager tried to be helpful but could not manage. She two families before us and me and my wife and been waiting for at least the minutes to be seated. We were then sat in a high top table in the bartenders section. The bartender was not very talkative and nonchalant. She was blonde with short hair. She only talked to us twice to get our food order which came out with the appetizer. She could not handle checking on us once throughout our whole experience. I love BWW and I go often for their Tuesday bone-in deal. I'm currently visiting Wichita and during my time here I've already gone to BWW twice lol. My go to flavors are Mango Habanero, Asian Zing, and Honey BBQ. Their wings are so freaking good and the buy one get one deal is great; however, the service at this location is terrible. My wait last night was nearly 2 hours because of how incompetent the hostess was. We were supposed to be seated earlier but she didn't bother calling our name and so we lost our table and had to wait even longer. I get that it's really busy and mishaps happen, but when we talked to her, she had such a nasty attitude and brushed us off while we were being polite the entire time. Then when our table was finally ready, they didn't bother telling us so we were just standing awkwardly by the hostess' booth waiting and another party that was already seated had to tell us our table was ready. I come here very Monday night because 1). I'd rather stay on the east side of Wichita while dropping my sister off at soccer practice since I'll be in the vicinity, and 2). It's not a bad place to watch Monday Night Football! Obviously, as I'm writing this review, since short staff at restaurants during an ongoing pandemic is at an all time high, unless you prefer to sit at the bar side (which is what I usually do at restaurants that has aforementioned bar seating), expect a wait for a host/hostess to seat you. If you order anything, I would highly recommend wings with the Asian Zing sauce. And as I mentioned before in a previous B-Dubs review, if you order the fries, do not be surprised if they taste like those frozen fries you would buy at a store, because according to an article I read, that's exactly what they are. Props to my favorite employees there: Madison, who works the bar on Mondays, and another server whose name I should still get (he's the one with the short, dark hair). PS. Service was great but that's where it ended tragically. The dining room was a mess. Trash all over the floor. Spilled food not picked up the entire time I was there. Wouldn't be hard to get one person to sweep the dining floor and get it cleaned up. The boneless wings were not warm and had a lot of unchewable fat. Worst food and environment I may have ever experienced. The service and staff were the only positive or they would have gotten negative stars. It's Final Four night and there's empty tables on one of Wichita's busiest areas. Might fix this place or close it down. read more
