Nothing about that course is anywhere near executive.. won't be back.. suggestion. Save your money and go to Lakevue or Conleys.. they only charge me $9 for my son to ride and golf with me since he is still learning.. Also, there is an old man driving around picking up balls. The course was alittle confusing as to where the next hole was but we figured it out. We were out to have a good time so we didn't really care. Some of the paths for the cart are in bad shape but you can drive the cart anywhere. If you are looking for something different to do on a beautiful day and get excerise , this is perfect. It's seen far better days. My son and I went up, more from my nostalgia than anything else, wanting to hit an afternoon 9. The rough was extremely high, fairways cut but lined with clippings, tees and greens both in very bad shape. My son gave it a "generous 2" out of 10...I would not have been so generous. This place needs rescued, but it would take a great investment of money and time. Sad to see.

My neighbor gave me a driver, and my son and I went to Birdsfoot on a recommendation from another friend. We started out with talking to a couple golfers in the parking lot. They were pleasant people, told us where the driving range is and whatnot. We then went inside the clubhouse and got the tokens for the ball machine. Very pleasant staff, cold drinks in the cooler behind the counter, and the prices of the balls were cheaper than I expected. We got to the driving range, and it was awesome. We hit 4.5 big buckets between the two of us, and had a truly great time. We will be going back for sure.

Course…read morewas in horrible condition minus the greens, the trees are overgrown on to the fairways to where you couldn't hit the ball at a normal height on about half of any given hole, the grass needed cut, the dining areas have not been updated since the 1990s, and the staff was pretentious. The golf carts were outdated and poorly maintained. During the banquet reception, the speakers' microphones kept going in and out. Nobody cared to step up and replace them. I was embarrassed for the club. It was sloppy. I would have been extremely mad had I paid to play that course. Luckily I didn't have to pay because it was a company sponsored event. Right now, I'd question playing this course again even if I got to play for free. I think I'll just stick with playing at my club and save the drive. The place needs new ownership and management. They just need to start from scratch.

Standout holes for me are the following: Holes 5 and 11, both are a shortish par 4 with some very well placed bunkers. Hole 12 is a gorgeous hole with water up the right side. 13 is a par 3 that plays down the hill. The scale here really sets it apart. Lastly hole 16 is a sharp dogleg left where the green is hidden from your tee shot. But you see that the hole opens up after you get to the fairway. The people here were very nice, the course is affordable and in fantastic shape, and the GPS in the carts are top notch. Definitely a place to play regularly for a fun round.

It's way out there, if you're not from the area & your GPS will take you on a scenic winding road, country detour which is OK in daylight but a nightmare in the pitch dark on the way home. This review is based solely on the clubhouse bar/restaurant, not on the golf course itself. The building is non-descript on the outside, but fairly nice inside with a large bar, dining area, middle room with pool table & back banquet room that looks like a regular basic wedding reception room (essentially what I imagine it's used for)...which is where the band played. There is no actual stage. It was quite busy on a Friday night and the two bartenders were slightly overwhelmed and doing their best to take care of the customers. They actually have a pretty big menu with lots of choices, and I had the fish and chips which was good-a very large piece of fried fish. The Miller Lite on draft was cheap at three dollars a pint. The band had a decent crowd in the back room, mostly older folks, so it was a little strange like playing to an old people's wedding reception, but it worked out & was fun. They look like they have a nice patio attached to the restaurant that overlooks the golf course that will be nice once the weather warms up. If my friends play here again I would stop by but not living in the area doubtful that I will be back until then. Having said that if you live in the area definitely worth a looksee and looks like a decent place to eat or sit at the bar. They have a one of the largest screen TV's I've seen in a bar.
