I called on the next business day only to be told that they called my mom's home twice on Saturday and no one answered...it's their policy to call first and then deliver. Hmmmm...the woman NEVER told me this when I ordered...my parents are usually outside. I could have made sure they answered the call. It's not like Raton is a huge geographical area to deliver flowers. You do charge delivery. Kinda stupid. MORE IMPORTANTLY, the woman NEVER apologized just asked if I wanted my money back...Way to get repeat customers,, perhaps attitudes like is WHY Raton is losing business, and slowly dying. I ordered a Valentine's Day arrangement of a dozen long stem roses in a vase from these people. It…read morewas delivered on Wednesday the 14th, and by Saturday the flowers had wilted and were basically dead. I contacted 800Flowers who I ordered the arrangement from originally. They contacted Accent on Flowers in Monte Vista, Co... asked them if they'd replace the flowers; they refused to replace them or give me a refund. Their service is terrible and their florist doesn't seem to know much about making these types of arrangements. The stems were way too long, no leaves or thorns on any stem at all! They put food coloring in the water and added these ridiculous extra long twigs which were sticking out in-between the bouquet high above it; looked terrible! Luckily 800Flowers found another florist in an adjacent town and took very good care of me and replaced the dozen roses with a two dozen arrangement which was beautiful and they threw in a box of Godiva chocolates plus discounted me $22. Warning, don't expect any type of replacement or refund directly from Accent on Flowers located in Monte Vista Co!!
