I fell in love in Rome with Fire. Fero means fire, and this place commits to the flame. Service and…read morethe vibe are also fire. Start with the mussels, steaming, garlicky, and swimming in a broth you'll want to drink. Tip the bowl and go for it. Or, ask for bread for the famous soak. Then comes the Cacio e Pepe. A Roman classic. So peppery and creamy. This is the best Cacio e Pepe I've ever had.

We explored the area more and found the highest rated restaurant in that area with 80k reviews! I bothered a couple eating there and they were not impressed with their dinner also. Then where do we get good authentic Italian food?? In our frustration I started asking any locals I can find. This young lady spoke enough English to let us know. She even had to call her friend for the location and name. It was not busy. The staff is older and looks like part of the good fellas cast. The decor looks like it too. Haha what an adventure. We were full from previous meal so only order two dish. Rigatoni democratic and seafood risotto . Omg this is it!! So delicious and tastes authentic . We took a picture with the owner I think and I told him he must be famoso! There were pics on the walls.

The tasting menu definitely seemed like a meal for two people! The waitstaff was super kind and unbelievably friendly. I was traveling and exploring Tivoli on my own, so it was nice to have a welcoming waitstaff. Here are my thoughts of each menu item: Trionfo di mare: 4.5/5 - enjoyed the assortment of fish! One of them was super fishy, and some pieces weren't super tender, but still tasty overall Scialatielli con ragu di spigola e datterini: 4/5 - plenty of clams, and the sauce had a strong clam taste. Would be nice if the sauce had some flavors other than clam flavor (maybe some herbs would help) Turbante di spigola con verdura croccanti: 4/5 - beautiful presentation. Fish could be more tender. The crunchy vegetables pieces were so tasty Pastiera napoletana - 3.5/5 - not my favorite type of dessert (obviously prefer chocolate), but it had a nice, cold texture. Missing some flavor

For the 3 of us with 3 bottles of sparkling water, 3 pastas dishes, an starter and 2 coffees and desserts, the bill was $70 euros. Delicious and a great service. I know in Italy people do not expect tips, I gave him 10euros and was so happy! The sun was out and having our meal outside was very enjoyable. Great decor!
