For the pasta dish, while the Carbonara was "typical" the server also highly recommended the Mussel pasta dish, featuring the flavorful and plump de-shelled mussels in a very light sauce with herbs, mild peppers and cherry tomatoes. This was the chef 's own summer creation. So happy she recommended it. The flavor of these delicious mussels was the star in a cast of interesting supporting flavor notes. The "sheep" skewers were further evidence that this chef focuses on the elegant simplicity of the flavor of his main ingredient...in this case small lamb chunks grilled on skewers...That was it, pure and simple, and simply delicious.
