After a long journey from the states to Sweden my group and I needed something quick and convenient within walking distance of the Grand Hotel Alingsås.
We decided to play it safe and try a local Tex-mex. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of ingredients and authenticity at Pico De Gallo.
I selected a trio of tacos. All served in a fried flour tortilla with cheese crispiness on the outer shell. I started with the garlic marinated shrimp taco -- loaded with pico, salad, roasted onions and guacamole. Seasoned beef -- cheese, red onion, lettuce, pineapple and topped with crushed nacho chips. And finished with the fajita chicken -- packed with grilled pineapple, salad, roasted corn, red onion and southwest ranch dressing.
