Stopped by Cajun Daiquiris and grabbed a Sex on the Beach daiquiri…read more It was really good. Smooth, cold, and packed with flavor without being overly sweet. Easy to drink and exactly what you want when you're just trying to relax and cool off. What stood out to me is how interesting it is that only in Louisiana you can pull up and get a daiquiri through a drive thru. Definitely not something you see everywhere, and it makes the whole experience that much more memorable. The spot itself is casual and easygoing. Service was quick and friendly, and everything came out fast. Solid place to stop if you're in the area and want a good daiquiri.

Go pick up a creatively delish and potent liquid prescription to cool you down! The saying "Don't judge a book by its cover," comes to mind as I made my way there. I must admit that I was unsure of the sketchy location on my first visit. (If you're really that worried, just bring a friend and you'll be fine). When you arrive, you'll drive around the back in order to get to the drive-thru window located on the left side of the building, check out the menu, and then ring the bell when you're ready. This place is strictly drive-thru only and it takes a bit of time to prepare the daiquiris, which are well worth the wait! As a first timer, I appreciated the friendly service from them. If you're on a time crunch, you can call ahead to order your daqs so they'll be ready for pickup. Also, if you're watching your sugar intake, this drink is not for you- it's loaded with sugar and candy toppings. Be prepared for the sugar rush and brain freeze! Your drink comes inside a plastic jar, which conveniently sits inside a giant styrofoam cup with a sealed lid, making it very travel friendly for the car ride. I got to try the mango colada and it did indeed taste like a pina colada with a subtle mango flavor. Each daq comes with different kinds of candy toppings for you to enjoy. They have a sizable menu of drink options available, including a virgin option, but if you're going to make your way here- definitely get a daq with an extra shot if you want to be adventurous! They have Jell-O shots, syringe shots, and boozy popsicles but I'd call to make sure they're in stock before making the drive out there. There's 20 different flavors to cater to everyone's tastes to start/end your evening with a bang and a boom! Alky Therapy Daiquiris are a big hit in the SBC so stop by when you're in need of an unique and creative alcoholic refreshment. They even have a special flavor featured every month. Yelpers, y'all need to go treat yourselves now!!! FYI: Hours of operation are Thurs(3pm-10pm), Fri-Sat(3pm-11pm) and Sun(3pm-8pm). Only 2 separate forms of payment can be accepted per car.
