No wifi, but there is a tv and lots of good conversation and they do have a bathroom, but you probably should take care of your business before you go in (not a lot of privacy). You want to show up as early as possible because they do fill up quick. Parking is a bit tricky, you can park along the street or in the old Iron Horse Saloon parking lot, being that it is abandoned and nobody has given me any problems about parking there.

While it might not seem like such a difficult thing, I have had my haircut by 75 to 100 barbers I would say. When, I moved back to Ashtabula, I tried nearly 10-15 different places here in town including Geneva and Mentor. The usual outcome was how the barber decided they thought my hair should look, rather than what I asked them for. I don't like it very short, which would make me a more frequent customer if they thought about it. And since my hair is naturally curly, a short haircut is a frizzy haircut. When I saw an article in the Star-Beacon about Kapp's Barbershop opening, I figured why not give him a try. I had not found a regular barber yet. I felt good upon entering, and knew right away, I would be returning when my haircut was exactly the way I asked. Since that first visit, I made the mistake of showing up in the afternoon FOUR times (yeah, I counted them), only to see 4 and 5 guys already there and willing to wait for this talented expert, and left with no opportunity but to go back to one of the other places to get a needed cut. That surely taught me the lesson to get there by noon, to be sure to get in. As a result of the pandemic, appointments have replaced walk-ins and waiting, and I will never need to get a unfavorable haircut again.
