Buyer beware! I finally found the tile I was looking for. Unfortunately, it was at Budget Tile. I asked for a quote on tiling floor, balcony, and shower. Quote was presented in writing that was very hard to understand. I asked for clarification several times, but had difficulty understanding pricing structure, labor, materials and scope of work. I'm no expert. This is my first (and only) renovation. Verbally, it was stated clearly by Budget Tile and understood by me, that the quote included the floor, shower, and balcony in the scope of work. Once the floor was completed - ok job, but requested several tiles to be removed and replaced - progress on the shower didn't begin. I asked why the work team was not starting on the shower. "Oh, the quote didn't include the shower", was the response. Well, verbally, the scope of work was clear. Same thing happened with the balcony. I ended up not tiling my balcony. Needless to say, buyer beware! They are not getting my backsplash business and shouldn't get yours. read more

Expert customer care, precision installation, high end products, unbeatable prices. We shopped three other vendors and when we came to Budget Tiles and were met with three of the most pleasant and charming sales people we were sold! We liked them so much we decided to fully renovate our two bathrooms and kitchen. Everyone who walks in is so impressed with the products and how theybwere installed. We orderd tiles from Budget Tiles in Pompano Beach for our house. After we got the first order we had to go back and order 5more boxes of the tiles we were told that the order would arrive in 1 week. We had to go back every week for a month to check on the order and everytime they had an excuse. The lady that works in the front of the house was super rude stated to yell at me saying that it was raining a lot and that`s why the order took long. Another month later they called saying that the boxes arrived but thay were broken and they now did not have that tile in stock anymore!!!!!!!!! Not only did this delay our construction but we had to spend more money on the contractor because of this horrible experience. Very rude costumer service, unproffesional, costumers get promised things and they do not keep the promise. Be careful when choosing this company they are very shady!!!!!! read more

Run away quickly out of this place. They have no respect for people or consideration of value of time. i was scheduled twice for them to come out to my house. The first day they told me I had the wrong day. They refused to answer the phone when I tried to called to confirm on Monday if they were going to show up. I finally spoke to the girl in the office and asked her to have someone contact me. No one called, so I called numerous times on Tuesday and no answer and they do not have an answering machine to leave a message. ( Great customer service NOT). I had to have my husband drive down to see if they were still in business. They told my husband I was wrong with the date. So try # 2 they promised my husband that they would have their personal people out to my house Saturday morning. Well 11:00 am came around and no one showed again. I called and no one answered and of course no answering machine to leave a message not that they would return my call. So finally at 11:15 I got through to the girl in the front, who told me that the manger was with a client and I should hold. Well 1/2 hour later I called on my husband phone and was told yeah I know you are on hold. He still is with someone. Once again told to wait. 12:00 comes around I hang up and call back no one answers of course. So I keep calling back and finally the girl has no answer as to what is going on. Her manager will not get on the phone and she has no clue as to who is supposed to be at my house. She tells me to hold again. Like I have all day to wait on the phone. Finally she tells me that she has no clue and will have to call the owner. About 1:30 she calls me back and claims Oscar did not show to work today and he was supposed to be the one at my house. So once again I want to talk to the manager big surprise he is not available. So I have to drive back down there. The manager basically did not care that I am mad. He could care less that they took many hours out of my life moving furniture and getting baby sitters for my dogs, which costs money. He could care less. He offers me my money back. Wonderful I do not have to deal with this inconsiderate company any longer. So they state oh sorry we can not run your credit card today. The owner has the pass code to do returns. So now I have to wait till Monday. I call them Monday morning, big surprise no answer. Finally I get a call from the girl stating we did not forget you. Yeah OK. We are waiting for the owner to come in. Well 6:00 PM comes and big surprise my credit card was no refunded. Well to say the least I had to contact my credit card company and do a dispute of charges. I did get my money back from the credit card company. I did call today and was told oh I am not sure of that was done. I told them I am done with them and they can fight it out with the credit card company. This company has no customer service at all. I am not sure how they are still in business. read more

So I was heading South to Ikea to pick up some more home renovating junk. Getting about sick of it. I ate a grinder right before I left and they snuck a jalepeno pepper on it that flared up some crazy heartburn about an hour into the trip. I needed to get some heartburn remedy so we popped off the freeway to find a Walgreens. The exit happened to be Atlantic Blvd. in Pompano Beach. Now, I consider myself generally lucky. I don't win the lottery and usually break even or play a really long time in Vegas. But with the little stuff, I like to think I am lucky. Finding Budget Tiles on my way back to the freeway, stomach cooling off is one of those moments. We walked in and were greeted professionally and were left to browse. We found beautiful 24x24 porcelain tile and as it turned out an unbeatable price. Places closer to us couldn't even come close. We thanked Tommy for his help and were back a few weeks later. Purchased the difficult tile and were chuckled at that we thought we were going to install it ourselves. He gave us a great quote on installation and told us to call him when and if we got two down. We opted for installation. It was a difficult project for our amazing installer Abraham, our slabs were all over the place. He leveled the floor and made his way through the entire bottom floor in just days. The floors are done and look absolutely amazing. This was such a great experience from start to finish, the staff and price are truly unbeatable. Lucky. read more

Just want to warn you all guys. Dont shop in that place. I ordered a tile and was told to wait 6 weeks for it. After 5 weeks I found out that tile that I ordered is discontinued and I will never get it. But it was still on display floor! Staff is rude and have no idea what are they doing! My wife ordered a particular type of tile and the company sent the wrong tile. To make matters worse, our handyman installed it most of it, and we realized (when we arrived to the house later) that it was the wrong kind. After we spoke with the owner, he promised that he would correct the problem, but he never returned our calls. Not only they were incompetent, but they actually deceived us. My first experience with Budget Tiles was good enough to earn them my repeat business for a larger project. I chose them to tile my entire condo, BUT I quickly learned that my experience depended greatly on the particular installers they contracted to do the job. The first time I used them, I had a clean and considerate installer. With my second project, the installers were dirty, disorganized, and didn't respect my property. My furniture was used as a table for their tools and materials with no attempt to protect it from damage. They helped themselves to my towels for clean up and used cleaning products from my pantry. They put their supplies in every room of the house and up against my belongings that I had moved to my patio to avoid the chaos of the installation. I repeatedly expressed my concern to the office, which gave its apologies, but no more. I requested twice that someone from the business come and see for themselves what was happening, but was told that they did't have the time for that. One woman in the office actually seemed to suggest that I was over reacting because these installers had done more than 50 jobs for them with no complaints. As a customer, I felt that my frustration at the filth and disorganization was not validated. I was told that such things were to be expected and that moving furniture was simply a courtesy. If I had wanted my furniture to be protected, I should have removed it. However, I had taken normal precautions to protect my property and this went unrecognized. Finally, A 5-7 day project continued for 2 weeks with not one room fully completed until the very end. I have been involved in several remodeling projects and have a realistic expectation about the chaos that ensues. This project, however, was outrageously disruptive and dirty. read more
