I phoned this plumber and he told me the garburator had to be replaced by a new one. *** He asked me for the make and model of the garburator and I emailed it back to him***. He replied and said it would cost $350 to $450, without telling me that it was not the same model. Since I am not in the plumbing business I trusted him thinking that that's how much a replacement would cost. After he finished installing it he told me the cost of the garburator was $400.00, plus tax and labor. He also said that he had to force to close the cabinet door and broke a container in order to fit. No word was said about compensation of the damage, but I just let it go. Afterwards I was wondering why the new garburator would not fit and found that it was a different brand and model and was much bigger than the old one. I then found out online that a new one the same make and model of my old one was $104.00. It is ridiculous to suggest one that is 4 times more expensive than the old one, which was a good machine until it was broken due to human error. I phone him the same evening and asked him to remove the new one and refunded me its cost. After 2 weeks of numerous attempts to set up an appointment he finally set up a date. However, he said he would charge me for the labor and only refund a portion of the garburator. I disagree so he did not return nor refund me.

I had the plumber come over to clear the build up in the pipes. He also unclogged the bathroom sink for me. As well, I had him look at my garburator. My garburator had a small crack on the side and it worried me a bit. The plumber said it is just the outside but the inside is still working fine. So there is no need to replace it yet. The plumber was very professional and he did not charge extra to having to come downtown.

True to his word he called just before 12:30 and was here within 20 minutes. We found Rodger to be very thorough, polite, professional and easy to communicate with.
