Well they claimed they had pictures, so who cares how can you prove those were my wash cloth and mat? They're LYING and JOY is a lie!!! I will never stay there again based on this experience! By the way two of my guests brought their own wash cloths! Smells racist to me and we were there for the March in Selma!

I stay with Hilton properties all over the United States, this is in the bottom 3 or 4 I've stayed…read morein. The interiors are old and dated and in disrepair. Their tech and entertainment is also outdated and antiquated. I will say that the staff seems to do the best they can with what they have to work with. The room was as good as could be and smelled fresh, so that's a plus. The towels were mismatched and the towel rack was bent and mangled. If I had to, I would stay again...I am a loyal Hilton customer. That said, the new Holiday Inn Express, directly behind this establishment, is looking awful inviting after stay here.

The room I got was small, and I spend about 150+ nights a year in hotels, so I carry a lot with me. The room was cleanish. My problem was checking out. I called at 1030, two days earlier than scheduled, and asked for a late checkout, 1pm. I was told ok by the girl at the front desk. ​While I was on my way, I got a call from someone in management, saying I'd have to pay fo4 the night since I would be checking out late. I explained that I was a Diamond Elite member, but that didn't matter. I exited my room at 1200 exactly. I protested the charge at the front desk. The manager came out, but refused to budge. I won't stay here again.

Bathroom wasn't clean , corners were very dirty . Bed decor sheet was dirty as well . Table , nightstand , & tv stand were all peeling . I killed 2 roaches on the nightstand . Hair dryer was filthy . Carpet just pure dirty ! I had to buy cleaning supplies just so it could feel halfway clean to us . Major renovations needed ...NEVER AGAIN !!!

The first thing you will notice is that it looks a little different from most Quality Inns (and trust me, as a Diamond Elite member, I've seen a LOT of them). If it looks familiar, it's because it used to be a Jameson Inn. Lovely exterior, though some better landscaping would be nice. It's winter though, so there may be more flowers at other times of the year. But what you really want out of a hotel is a clean bed, right? This hotel returns to the Quality Inn standards, presenting a comfortable mattress, clean white sheets, fluffy pillows, a down comforter, and a gold bed scarf. There was also a table but no desk, and your choice of a straight backed chair or an office chair. The vanity was really nice -- long counter and sink area and bright lights above the mirror. Fridge and microwave worked well. I didn't use the coffeemaker as I bring my own. The iron was missing, but I didn't care. Lights and locks worked fine. Electrical outlets, like in most hotels, were a bit sparse, and I ended up using the extension cord I always carry. Wifi Internet worked well, even though I was far from the main office. I was in building three, and it was quiet, clean, well-lit, and felt safe. There was also a small area of grass for pets -- this hotel does allow dogs for an additional per night charge. I did not eat breakfast here and doubt I will. Quality Inns are not known for great breakfasts. There are plenty of fast food places nearby as its on the main drag through town. There is a Walgreens and Sonic very close, and Walmart is about a half a mile away on the same road. After so many bad stays recently, I was almost ready to leave the Choice Hotels chain. This hotel changed my mind. Solid five stars. I'll be back soon.

We had an issue with belongings being stolen, and no one would even bother to look at security footage for us, not even when asked by the law. Very sketchy. If you do book here, bring nothing and eat nothing, and shower well outside before your reenter your own personal abode.

They look nice in that they were recently renovated but then there are things that are just old and nasty. It's like it was trying really hard to recover with renovations but they just missed the mark. There were cigarette holes in the sheets and stains on the floor. And I know this is trivial, but the lamps also have different color temperatures. The lamps on the desk in the room have warm yellow light and the lamps next to the bed have blue daylight LEDs (not great for a homey feel/hotel). The rooms feel sticky on the second floor like the air is just very thick and it doesn't seem like they use the air conditioning in the hallways. The peephole on the door is also near the middle of the door inside of at adult eye level. We also had trouble opening our door like the floor wasn't level. There's free WiFi but the password they gave us didn't work. The floors in the room also feel lumpy like the carpet isn't attached right. I'm not sure why but the four rooms I needed were processed as four separate transactions rather than just one big transaction. It was just sort of a pain checking in 4x rather than once (card, signature, ok the amount, accept transaction...). Parking wasn't a problem and the lot is well lit. Continental breakfast was offered from 6:00 am -9:30 am. They had a waffle machine, cereal, small pastries, coffee, juice, yogurt, eggs, sausage, and a few other things. So that was nice. They had plenty of room availability and were able to help process a tax exemption for the resevations since I was traveling with a non-profit organization.

The lobby that is in the picture is not available, you have to deal with a lady behind a security window with the last name Patel. The room had VERY outdated and badly used furniture. The wall outlets were hanging from the wall and the bathroom light fixture was an open hole into the ceiling!!! The cleaning staff stay in the hotel and were complaining to other guest about being provided only water to clean!!! The toilet had a plastic shopping bag floating in it!!!! Stay under a bridge, you will save money and have better company most likely. We left and did not recieve a refund....
