We stayed in a one room cabin with a king bed and were really impressed. The cabin was very clean and tidy. Well decorated and comfortable. The A/C was wonderful as it was a hot weekend. The location was great and very near Roaring River park where we saw trout fishing and kids playing in the shallow, crystal clear spring water having fun. Right down the street from a big water slide and near fishing supplies. Cassville is about a 10 minute drive and Eureka Springs, AR is about 30 minutes. We had dinner in E-Springs at the Grotto and the Rockin Pig Saloon, both were excellent! We had a wonderful weekend, thanks in no small part to the crisp and comfortable king bed, nice clean appointments and great experience at Roaring River Resort. We waited almost an hour to get served salads and a sandwich. The food is mediocre. My Rueben had very tough corned beef. Prices are reasonable for lunch but you get what you pay for. Oddly, they offer rainbow trout for dinner but it comes from "a distributor" which means frozen. The river is 2 minutes away and there is a hatchery 1/4 mile away where they grow trout and stock the river. Can't figure that out. If you do catch a fish they will clean and cook it for you for $7.99.
