Arriving after 9 hours of driving, we found an unoccupied front desk with a phone on it. A little piece of paper requested us to "dial 0".
We did so, and when the employee arrived, she scolded us for not "using our brains" but instead hanging up without saying anything. She was extraordinarily unfriendly and treated us like children.
The "newly renovated rooms" and the bathrooms could have been cleaner (there were hairs in the bathtub) and more modern.
There were stains on the sheets and on the pillowcases, which made us suspect that they hadn't been washed after the previous guests.
Breakfast was supposed to be at 7. We went there at 7, again finding nobody at the desk, and there was no sign of breakfast.
By 7:20 we checked again, finding still no breakfast and the same service as the previous night (no employee, but the phone).
As instructed the previous night, we dialed 0 and waited, but there was no answer.
The same employee as the previous night shuffled to the front desk in complete disarray.
We asked her when breakfast would be ready because we planned on eating at 7.
She answered a "few minutes" because we had just woken her up. When we asked her how long exactly it would take, she yelled "I already told you, a few minutes".
The "continental breakfast" included two types of old bagels from the fridge and stale bread for which there was only butter to spread on.
We had to heat the water for our tea in a styrofoam cup in the microwave.
If the service and the breakfast hadn't been that bad, and if it had been cleaner, I would rate this place more than the minimum amount of stars.
By the way, the place smells very bad read more
