After pick up of the dumpster I was charged an additional $250 overweight fee! Told I was 2 tons over fee of dumpster. There was nothing heavy in there, old carpeting. Did not have that charge hit my cc until 10 days later!!!! Very deceiving company. How is an average homeowner supposed to believe it was over by 2 tons!! Asked for a call back from an owner or supervisor and they did not have the decency to do so. Update: I was contacted by the sales manager, and they worked to address my dissatisfaction. Everyone please do not hire a dumpster from these people. Beware, they are scammers. I hired a dumpster for 12 days. It came on time. It was picked up as planned. The problem is the dumpster was half way full. I didn't need such a big one, anyway that's ok they charged me for it. I'm am sure it wasn't even a ton. A few days after it was picked up, my account was charged 523.14 for what? I don't know. I called them, according to them the dump site said the dumpster weighed 4 tons. My god, where would I get 4 tons of building materials from? The contractor broke 3 bedrooms inner walls to insulate and Sheetrock it over. That was all that was in the dumpster. I'm an owner of a construction company and I've used them multiple times . I recently ordered a dumpster in December to toss out the last bit of garbage which contained mainly cardboard and laminate flooring . I rented a 10 yard dumpster that allows 1,5 ton weight limit . 1 month later they are charging me for additional 10 tons for a total amount of over $1,000.00. I've called plenty of times to get this issue resolved and have recently been offered $100.00 in addition to 40/ new dumpster for 3 times . This is robbery at its finest ! I've even offered to go to the dump site my delve to run back cameras etc . This is not the way a business should be ran . I can see if it was 100.00 but you're talking 10tons in a 10 yard dumpster . Just like everyone says, STAY THE HELL AWAY!!!! I booked a 10ft dumpster through this guys and they were quick and responsive enough. Then a couple of week after, I saw an invoice for an overage fee. According to them, the weight of my garbage had ballooned into a whopping 4.18 tonnes!!!! That is 4x the weight limit!!!! Just how?? From the demo of one wall and a change in toilet??? I asked for proof of receipt from the landfill weighing station and they have only provided invoices from them and the third party they used. We called after day 3 since we were finished with it and they could come and pick it up... Never came...after numerous calls texts and emails they still didn't come. Ordered a 30 yard dumpster, filled it with 2 sofas and furniture from two bedrooms, broken down to fit and area rugs, guess what, got charged an extra $91.20 on my credit card no explanation. Tried customer service to explain, but waited and waited with the message "we are experiencing unusual high call volumes". I ordered a dumpster from a salesperson named Matt he promised a dumpster in two days. I got a call two days later that they couldn't get the dumpster until the NEXT Thursday. ( Matt never said they had any issues or delays) so we agreed to wait until the Next Thursday. We were moving and we needed the dumpster to discard some old furniture and things. We waited that Thursday October 7th and the dumpster never showed up. We got a call that there would be another delay. So we agreed to wait until the next Thursday which was October 14. We moved our cars out of the driveway we waited throughout the day. They never showed up with ZERO phone call tHIS TIME TI EXPLAIN WHY THEY DIDNT SHOW UP AGAIN . I called three times on October 15 to customer service. No one ever returned my call. I finally got someone on the phone the last time I called around 3 pm on October 15th. I found out they work from home. And one person is not communicating with the other. Nothing got resolved. Saturday morning the 16th. I called the company and I spoke to someone who couldn't help me at all. No dumpster. I asked for my money back and they told me it will be processed on Monday the 18th. So now they will have held my money to fund their business mind you... for THREE weeks. So they've kept my money all this time and I've never received the dumpster. This is a bait and switch operation. They take your money upfront and they never give you the dumpster. If they've done this to other ton of people that means they're holding onto your money to fund their business. I clearly do not recommend this business. I've never written a negative review before. This company doesn't even deserve a star. First time ever experiencing this type of service. To start off the salesman isn't clear with the delivery of the dumpster rental, stating simply the drop off window is from 6am-6pm the day you request one. Then to find out (which they don't inform you) that there is a 7 day window that your rental may come after the day you schedule? Just reading/typing this doesn't make any sense. I wouldn't have rented knowing about said 7 day window. To continue, they didn't send me the invoice/agreement until i called and requested for one to be emailed to me on the day of scheduled drop off. I was told I was emailed one prior, and now speaking to another person, still not told about the 7 day window! Now it's after the "6am-6pm" time frame that I was told, the day of scheduled delivery, I call and talk to another person, just to be put on hold to find a supervisor to help! Supervisor with nothing much else to say goes I should have been informed and adds usually there's a cancelation window and fee (meaning there's nothing she can do) but she'll put everything in her notes that i don't get charged for that and receive a full refund. Is there anything else she can help me with? Thank you? It would have been nice how fast and smooth it was to charge my card, that the dumpster would be in my driveway after the inconvience and me spending my morning moving everything from my backyard to the front of the house of the waste that was suppose to be thrown out. They charged me $240 extra for weigh overage and claimed that my dumpster weighted double the weigh limit (2 ton vs. 4 ton). The claim is completely bogus as I had a larger dumpster on my property and it weighted less than 4 ton. I rented the second to the largest size of dumpster available from Budget Dumpster for a basement renovation in Westchester County, NY. The agent I spoke with by phone helped walked me through the process. We discussed not only what would be the appropriate size, the cost, delivery and pick up time frame of 10 days before additional fees would apply, what items could and could NOT be placed in the dumpster at all, or if so placed, would incur additional penalties, but also, importantly, the logistics of where and how the dumpster would be delivered, as it is a long walk from my house to my driveway, and the dumpster could not be located on my lawn lest it sink into the ground and be unmovable. The agent was very thorough. Communications with the company by text updated me as to how many days left I had in my 10 day rental, etc. Everything went very smoothly. delivery and pick up went according to plan, and there were no problems at all. We rented the dumpster for household junk 20 yards, we had a scheduled pickup but there was a car blocking our driveway so i was charged 150 dollars. I have no problem with that then they rescheduled and they did not show up that day, they showed up a day later at 6 am in the morning, I opened the gate and had no place to park for 2 days and recieved a ticket for parking illegally and then after a month and a half later they charged me 100 dollars for over weight. Where was my dumpster for a month and a half and how do i know no one added to it. THIS COMPANY IS VERY DISHONEST AND SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. I rented a 20 cu.yd. dumpster for yard and construction debris. Overall experience (and cost) was reasonable. When renting a dumpster you should be sure you understand what items are restricted, the weight limitations, and the time you are allotted to keep the container. Also make sure driver has access. If not adhered to, these contract items will result in additional charges, some rather excessive. (Read other reviews where the customer had issues.) Fortunately for me, I stayed within the parameters for the most part. The 20 cu. yd. dumpster is about 4 ft. high, so it's easy to load from any side (contents cannot exceed level of dumpster). Dumpster was delivered on the day scheduled. I filled it up in the 10 days allotted and called for a pick-up about 2 days ahead. I did incur an additional charge of $42.50 for exceeding the 2 ton weight limit by nearly another ton. Overall, the convenience was worth the cost. read more

Put 80 % of the stuff out for the regular garbage which they took, the dumpster was only partially filled with small household items and two months later they charged my debit card for an over weigh charge. Do not use budget dumpsters. They are trying to charge me 150.00 for no container being delivered. The work order said to arrive between 8-10am the driver arrives at 7 am. I explained to Dustin the day I ordered the dumpster that the alternate parking on Monday's are between 8:30am and 10am. I get a call from the dumpster company saying that the driver can't sit there and wait. Now they are saying, because there was no where for the dumpster to be placed because of the vehicles parked they trying to charge me. The work order says 8 am. The guy from the company called the driver and the driver left at approximately 7:41am he didn't even stay until 8 am what the work order stated. I have surveillance cameras to show the date and time the driver arrived and left. read more

Never bothered to let me know that a local company that actually brings dumpsters over for them didn't put me on the schedule because they didn't like the permit paperwork that the city emailed me. This being despite the fact that the person scheduling the dumpster assured me that everything was fine. End result: monday morning, no dumpster no calls from budgetdumpster. The crooks refused refund the cc charge and insisted that I cancel and they keep the $25 cancelation fee. Deal with local companies directly like what I ended up doing. Ordered a dumpster on Sunday for Thursday delivery for a residential clean out project. My contractor had a dumpster that was to be picked up on Wednesday unbeknownst to me from Budget Dumpster - I should have known when they delivered that late and didn't return his calls that this was not a reputable company. On Wednesday I was told my contractor's dumpster would be picked up and mine would be dropped off on the same visit on Thursday. Thursday they did not come, did not call. On Friday, dumpster was picked up but my dumpster was not left in it's place. I called offices at 10:30am and was told they would contact dispatch and call me back. I called at 5:30pm and was told my dumpster was cancelled. I am know left holding with no dumpster and people coming to help with the client. Adding insult to injury, can't talk to a manager, they work half days on Friday and no one cares that this is going on, seems to be par for the course with this company. Oh yeah, and budget they are not - they were supposedly giving me a 15 yard dumpster for the price of a 10 yard - I'm now getting quotes for a 15 yard dumpster that beats their price.
