Wish 0 stars was option. Shady operation. They stated dumpster would be delivered between 6am-6pm. Apparently they came by just after 8am. We had 2 cars in driveway. They called my wife who had ordered it. She was asleep and didn't hear phone and they did not leave a message. They did not deliver dumpster due to cars in driveway and did not attempt to knock on door. Called later in day for status and was told about earlier attempt and that we would be charged $195 for undeliverable attempt. Jamie stated that drivers are not allowed to leave their vehicles to knock on door and this charge was clearly stated in contract. She would not allow us to talk to anyone else stating that she was "highest customer service" rep there and basically just said that's their policy so they scammed us for $195. Called another dumpster company who stated that Budget Dumpster is just a third party business that actually calls other dumpster businesses to get dumpsters and that being told that drivers cannot get out of their vehicles is incorrect. We gave this two stars instead of one as the ordering, delivery, and pick up all went as scheduled. That part was easy. A couple weeks after our dumpster was picked up we were charged an additional $785 with no warning saying our dumpster was overweight. We had to explain ourselves 5 different times that there was no way our dumpster was that much overweight. It wasn't until we provided proof that the company conceded to their error and refunded the money. After reading several reviews on here it seems like a practice of theirs to charge people overages that aren't theirs. Makes us wonder if we didn't have a Ring camera for proof if we would have been out $785. We would not recommend this company as it's a bit shady. read more

Had Budget Dumpster recently provide us with a dumpster to do a clean out of our house. They did a great job upon delivery and pick up. Had the dumpster for 7 days. Managed to fill it in those days. Upon delivery the driver called me to let me know that the dumpster needed to go on the other side of the driveway than how I had marked it due to not being able to get into the driveway without possible hitting the neighbors mailbox. He used the boards I had put down so as not to damage the driveway. The pick up driver did a great job as well. I put down some extra boards upon his recommendation so as the dumpster moved down the driveway upon reloading it that it didn't damage the driveway. Great job and would definitely recommend Budget Dumpster to anyone needing a dumpster. Definitely use them in the future. read more

Budget Dumpster did a great job for me. They got the dumpster to me on short notice and worked with me with two changes to the pickup day. On the second they could have charged me a cancellation fee and picked it up the next day after I had made a mistake. Instead they sent someone out the same day to pick it up, saving me the cancellation fee and clearing my driveway. Everyone I dealt with was professional and very courteous. TERRIBLE COMPANY...arranged to have it delivered early as they could not guarantee delivery. Had it delivered 3 days early. That went well. Told them they could pick it up on Monday which was 7 days after the delivery date. They did not pick it up, when I called they said I had to call and schedule a pick up and I would be charged an additional fee. Then I just got a bill today for over weight fee. Wonder what other fees will pop up???? I notice on the other reviews they are either 1 star or 5 stars. Ordered a dumpster on 4/28 to arrive on 4/30. Never showed up, I attempted every type of communication they suggested and had NO luck getting a response! Good luck trying to get through to customer service! Sales of course was easy to get to and they were very friendly, but when your $500 order never arrives, you'll be on hold for quite some time! They told me that they had no reason to give me why the delivery truck never showed up, despite the fact that they tell you if they are not going to be there, they would notify you! When customer service said that there was no way to get my dumpster because it was Saturday and the delivery guys were closed on Saturday and Sunday, I requested a full refund. Shelly said they would do that, but she couldn't give me a confirmation number...? Hmmm, so I asked for her employee number and all she would tell me was her first name and a "case number". She said it would be somewhere between 3-5 days for a refund. I guess I will see if they hold to their word, but I notified my financial institute for fraudulent activity. I'm shocked at the very poor customer service received during the time we were supposed to receive our dumpster rental. We were told a delivery date and would be called if the delivery date could not be met. Therefore no call received, therefore we expected our dumpster by 6PM--non delivered. Phoning the next morning to locate the dumpster, and was, again, promised its delivery (because it was "routed to be delivered by 6P (again). It took multiple calls the entire day to establish the status. I was told "dispatch" said it was on the route to be delivered by 6PM (mind you, if it is slated to be "routed" then canceling will be a $150 charge). It is now 7:32PM EST and still no dumpster, no call, no dispatch courtesies, no account manager interventions--NOTHING--JUST WAITING FOR THE PHANTOM DUMPSTER WHILE WE HAVE A CREW THAT TRIED TO PATIENTLY WAIT, BUT NOT FOR FREE AND NOT FOR LONG. Pretty solid. I've gotten 2 dumpsters from them for a rehab house we are working on. They were a day late on the first dumpster, but they gave me 14 days instead of 10. They gave it to me again on my replacement dumpster. Very good communication, no problems at all. Also gave me the lowest quote of the companies I contacted. They did nail me with a charge of 87 dollars for the first and 35 on the second. For "overweight fees". I kind of expected it on the first one, but the second seems a little shady. read more

I would give zero stars if possible. I called Budget Dumpster and was assured I had a 20 yard dumpster that would be delivered three days from my call. The day came and about 5 pm I started calling. No one answers the phone. I text the number they gave me. No one answers. I'm working out of town and assumed it would be delivered late. When my husband let me know it still wasn't there the next morning, I started the process again. No one answers and no phone call or answer to my texts. On the next day after that, I called but this time I selected the option to rent instead of customer service and, no surprise here, someone answered and said that they would try to find out where it was for me. Finally someone texted me and said that they thought they had inventory but didn't. What kind of business doesn't know if they have inventory or not? They apologized and said they could deliver it Friday or the next week. I said I could do Friday, even though that shorted me the allotted days as we had to move in seven. Then they texted back and said that they meant a window between that Friday and the next! I told her we were moving the following Thursday and that they should bring me two 10s or a 30 for jerking me around and that they have now wasted three more days of my time. That's when they told me they had NO dumpsters to deliver to me before that time AT ALL. If time is of zero importance to you, if you don't mind multiple calls and texts to continually follow up on your missing dumpster then it may be worth your time. It's not any money saved when it doesn't show up when needed. If I have to haul trash in my trunk I will choose that over this company that I felt was dishonest at worst and inconsiderate at best. read more

I would give it zero stars if that was an option. They took the payment for a 40 yard dumpster and dropped it off 2 days later. I was SOOO happy. Until the door wouldn't open and it was filled in the bottom with about 6 inches of sludge and cardboard boxes. We told them the door wouldn't open and they sent us a video (as if we were not smart enough to look that one up already). Then, they sent someone out to look at it and they deemed it unusable as they couldn't open it either. They promised to have another one dropped off the next day and they said they would open it when they dropped it off. I got home from work and not only did they not open it, but they sent a 30 yd dumpster instead. We had to call to complain about that. Then, they refunded me only $10. They should have just brought me a 40 yard dumpster like I had asked for! Next time, I will avoid all of their hassle and go through another company altogether! read more

We had a very good experience with Budget Dumpster. It wasn't perfect, but I would still recommend them wholeheartedly. We wound up initially getting a dumpster delivered to our driveway. It got swapped out for a new one 3 additional times. We were charged an additional couple of hundred bucks extra at the end, but the fees were still overall lower than what we would have been hit with had we gone with someone else. It was perfect for our situation where we had some flexibility (call for a swap out for a new dumpster, know that they'll swap out sometime later that day). One minor gripe was that there was a mattress stuck at the bottom of the last dumpster we ordered (so it did not come back completely empty--it was our mattress from the previous load, so I think it was just a hasty swapout)--I'm not really upset about that since we didn't really need the space on that last load. The extra charges also weren't specified/itemized in detail, so we're not sure exactly what the breakdown was, but we were expecting to have some overages due to weight or overloading, anyway. These are legitimate complaints and things that a potential customer should take note of, but I want to emphasize that we were happy in the end, anyway. They took care of their end of business very reasonably during a really stressful time for us, and we didn't have to worry about any problems with them. I'm glad we didn't overpay someone else for this service. Even with the extra charges at the end, it was still a great deal compared to other dumpster providers we looked up. Nightmare experience. Ordered a dumpster for 7/12 and scheduled the pickup for 7/15 when I ordered it. Service rep said no problem, got that scheduled for you so NO need to call back to schedule pickup- got it all set up. 7/16 comes around, it's still there. Mind you, we're moving. The new owners of the home are due to take possession 7/16 at 5pm. I call back and hear that pickup was never scheduled and the earliest they had was the following week in a three day window. Now this dumpster is at a home I NO LONGER OWN. It is 7/19 and it's still there. They called me back and owned up to their mistake and offered me a $35 credit. LIKE A SLAP IN THE FACE. How is there absolutely no emergency pickup service when your own company messes up this bad!!! This is ongoing at this time. The absolute latest pickup being tomorrow evening. We'll see if they show up. The new home owners seem to be gracious for now but what a terrible experience for all of us. This was a horrible experience. I called and told them I needed a dumpster early the next day, they said no problem. They arrived at noon and the driver said his truck was too large to make the drop. I told him I've had a bigger dumpster before, but he said his truck was too large to make the turn. He told me he called dispatch and they would call me back to schedule a smaller truck to bring the dumpster. I called them back 10 min later only to find out they did not have smaller trucks and could not leave the dumpster. I explained to him we have had a larger dumpster dropped here before, but he said they were not able to do it.
