My mother and I are working on our first home remodel project. We are learning as we go. I had the job of finding a dumpster to rent. I got quotes from other companies and the price was double at the other places. I went ahead and booked budget dumpster because they had the best price. The booking process was super simple. I was worried that the street was too narrow, and several people park on the street. But the driver was so skilled they delivered the dumpster with no issues and on time. When it was time for pick up the company gives you updates on how much time you have left with the rental. Which really helps since we have been so busy. The dumpster was picked up with no issues. Update: We started off bumpy with the delivery of the dumpster as previously mentioned. However, they did make it right by offering a credit and continuously followed up to make sure it finally arrived and reminder notices to make sure I didn't go over my rental period and accrue more charges. Dropping it off they were in and out. Didn't notice any damage to my driveway after pick up. Dumpster was picked up as scheduled. Would use again for next home rental renovation project in a couple of months. Only this time plan for delivery and demo start date better just in case. read more

I ordered and paid for a 30 yard dumpster on Dec 12, 2022 for delivery on January 2, 2023. Delivery was confirmed via email that day and again on January 1, 2023. At 3:45 pm, Monday, January 2nd, we were notified there was an error in the rental because no one realized the office would be closed January 2nd. We had traveled from Oklahoma City to Houston and had a very limited time to work. We ended up hiring a crew to help fill the dumpster which was picked up Friday, January 6th. We paid $700 to rent the dumpster four days. This company has a policy and will only give us a credit of $30. I cannot recommend. read more

I had Budget Dumpster deliver a 20-yard container to haul away some trash. I should have taken a photo of the amount of debris that was in the container. I was allowed one ton of material. I did not use the full one ton. the container had paper products from the interior paint job and some wood material and was appx 20% full. I was charged for 4 tons of trash. The weight ticket from the landfill weighed exactly 8,000 pounds. I was charged $197 for the additional weight that was not in the dumpster. They would not credit any of the charges. This is wrong and a total scam on the consumer. There is no way that dumpster weighed exactly 8000 pounds. read more

Sometimes when you order smaller-valued products or services from a larger company, you can be made to feel like your patronage is small beans and like you're not quite worth their time - these guys made it seem that EVERY order was important. Do. Not. Use. This. Company. Pure scam. Read and believe all of these reviews. Turns out, yes, even delivering a dumpster is too much responsibility for this dumpster-rental company. We required that the dumpster we rented be delivered on the scheduled date as we had rented other equipment (with its own expensive daily rate) to load what we needed into the dumpster. The dumpster was to deliver by 6pm on the scheduled date. By 3 or 4 pm the dumpster had not yet arrived and we requested from the company a status or eta for the dumpster and was told no estimate could be given. By 610pm no dumpster had arrived. I called the company and someone answered the phone twice and immediately hung up. I called the company a third time and spoke to someone who explained all they could do was "call dispatch to request an ETA" but they were likely done working for the day. She did in fact call dispatch but communicated to me that no one picked up. I then asked whether there was any other way to get in touch with them so we could know if a delivery would still be possible that day given the other equipment we had rented was to load materials into the dumpster and we would have wasted the cost of renting the equipment for that day. She then hung up on me. I called the company a fourth time and was transferred through five people, each time someone stating they would put me on a brief hold but (evidently) just putting me back in the queue. Finally someone actually attempted to assist, but communicated that all she could do was call dispatch. I asked what our options were given we either did not need the dumpster the next day, because we would no longer have the necessary equipment to load the dumpster, or we would incur another $500 to extend the equipment rental for another day when/if the dumpster actually arrived. She simply responded that we would still have the rental for 10 days. I reiterated that we did not need the rental for 10 days but just the day it was scheduled for delivery per our contract. She said dispatch "may" deliver it the following day. I explained that unless it could be delivered first thing in the morning that would not be helpful. She then communicated she could not tell me a time but they would deliver in the 6am to 6pm window. I asked what our refund options were and she said she did not know. We have not been provided with any update from the company and have no faith that the company will do right by us, which would require them to make us whole by refunding our money for the dumpster rental and equipment rental since we did not receive the former and the latter served no purpose without the dumpster. If you need a dumpster and aren't looking to throw your just light your money on fire, use a different company. This company is smart enough to not have a huge online presence, or else there would be many many more of these bad reviews, I am sure of it. read more

Scam artists! Watch your email for them trying to rip you off and charge your card for more money without you noticing. I had a 20yd dumpster that I only half filled, with wood from a fence I tore down (not heavy). There is absolutely no way that it was overweight. But 6 weeks after they picked it up, they send me an email saying that it has come to their attention that the dumpster was overweight and attaching another invoice. I had an issue with the city of Austin that needed to be resolved ASAP thanks to some irresponsible tenants. They were helpful in getting a dumpster to me in 2 days and early in the morning so we had use of it all day. The process was easy and you actually get a person when you call, not a machine or voicemailbox. The guy was very good about explaining what to expect and delivered plus their price was cheaper than paying for 2 of those green bags you get from the big box store and having them picked up. Do not use this company. We were charged a $150 fee for going past the weight limit, however, before we decided to contact them we specifically mentioned that it was going to be a demolition project, therefore, there was a lot of trash to dispose of and they said it would be perfectly fine. We received an email stating that they could not remove the dumpster and are charging us a fee for it as well. We could have simply rented two trucks for the same price instead of going here for business and getting charged double. Horrible customer service. They are not upfront about the fees at all and treat you with a degrading manner. read more

Storm debris and a neighbor's pier filled our coastal yard after a recent tropical storm - what a huge mess! Called Budget to get a price on a 10-12 yard dumpster but they were out but they would let us have a 20 yard for the same price. But on drop-off day they delivered a 30 yard size - same price and weight though. Point is, we didn't have to wait for our size to be available on a different day. Within 2 days we were ready to return the dumpster and they promptly picked it up. Hope we never need another dumpster but Budget will be at the top of our list to call. Ordered dumpster through "budget" dumpster. Troiano waste delivered dumpster. After final billing, was charged for 1.23 ton overage of $116 with a total charge of $515. Called office to inquire about overage and agent was fairly rude. Called Troiano waste to see what their total charge would have been had we just gone through them. Total would have been ~$465. Would have saved over $50 had we not used "Budget" Dumpster. Recommend that you do 5 extra minutes of research and cut out "Budget " Dumpster when ordering. read more

It was the busy season so I was given a 2 day window for delivery and possibly longer, however the dumpster was delivered on the original day I requested before I even got out of bed. It was that quiet. I was good and only put in construction material which we just threw in there. A couple of days later I called for it to be picked up and then they said they would try but they were busy and it might be a day or two later. However again they picked it up on the day I requested. My only concern was that when I ordered the dumpster no one said that materials could not poke up above the rim because a top would be put on it when picked up. So we had to go into the dumpster and knock things apart and rearrange things. Other than that a very good experience. read more
