Wow what a horrible experience I had with this company. When calling in I explained to them the project that I was working on and after speaking with the sales rep and explaining my concerns about weight she spoke with a supervisor and some of her staff about it and was told that based off my project I should not have a problem with going over in weight. This was told to me and was assured I should be fine. So going off what they said since I had no experience in this as this was the first time using a dumper company I said ok. The dumpster was delivered with massive holes so the driver placed wood inside since there welder was out with Covid. So already I stared with a bad experience. After pickup. I called to check with the company about weight since I was concerned from the start. They said they would email the next day with updates. So today I checked and go figure 1.5 tons over. So my concerns that were told to me to not worry about is now something that I have to worry about more. False info to just make a sale I guess. The dumpster was placed and removed very professionally as you would expect. My only issue, however, is that they charged me an overage fee of a half ton. I do not believe I even had a ton of debris in the dumpster. They charge additional if you have more than 1 ton of debris. The dumpster was or close to being full with renovation items like remnant wood boards and some sheetrock (not heavy items). I gave 4 stars only because I believe they just added this to my bill without justification. I was concerned this would happen so I took several pictures prior to the dumpster being removed from property. There was no additional half ton of debris. I paid for a 40yd dumpster and was delivered a 30yd dumpster. I called Budget Dumpster Rental and they asked, "how do I know it's a 30yd dumpster"? Well, painted on the back of it in 5" print it states 30yd. They said they'd call and check with dispatch. Per their dispatch, they delivered a 40yd dumpster. I argued that it wasn't, gave them all the evidence that it was a 30yd and not a 40yd, and finally had them ask for pictures of me measuring the dumpster to prove it was 6' high (a 30yd height) and not 8' high (a 40 yd height). I eventually sent them a picture of me @ 5'3", standing next to a 6' tall young man, and asked them to dispute that and tell me he (whose head hit right at the top of the dumpster) was 8ft tall I paid for a 40yd dumpster, it's not like I paid for a 30yd but was trying to scam them for a 40yd. I just wanted what I paid for. This went back and forth for two days before it was resolved and I was refunded the difference (you didn't think they exchanged the dumpster for what I paid for did you?) No because I was told that if they picked it up and there was trash in it of any amount, they would still charge me (for their error.) AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. I am taking time to write this lengthy review to warn potential customers from ordering with Budget Dumpsters. To say Budget Dumpsters is a terrible company is an understatement, and I will never ever do business with them again. Budget Dumpster is DUMPSTER BROKER. They contract out the dumpster order to other direct-to-consumer dumpster companies. I ordered 2 dumpsters for a job site in Georgia. They delivered one. I called to see where the other dumpster was, and they told me their DISPATCH only had one on order. So they had to scramble to get another dumpster company to deliver the second unit, which arrived at 7:45pm. That's the issue. They have no problem swiping your card and placing the order. However, fulfilling the order is a different story. They use their "dispatch" to find other dumpster companies to actually deliver the dumpsters. So from day one, they messed up my order. We filled both dumpsters and needed to do a swap for two empty units. I told them the job site was only open from 8am - 9pm, so Joe (don't know last name) and Sean Flanagan said they'd schedule an "afternoon delivery" between 9am - 12pm. Well I get a call from the driver saying he's at the job site at 7:30am, and guess what? He only showed up with one unit instead of two. After calling Budget Dumpster, they apologized for the confusion and said they'd send another dumpster out. The second dumpster came two days later. When I brought up the issue with Budget Dumpster customer service, the rep, Emily Drum, apologized and said they only provide estimated time windows, but dumpsters can be delivered any time between 7am - 6pm, basically their hours of operation. The reps and customer service tell you what you want to hear, ensuring they're working on solving the issues with "dispatch," but nothing ever got resolved. I had to keep bugging them and bugging them until they found a driver and dumpster that they could deliver. Budget dumpster will also charge you a back end fee if your dumpster is overweight. But wait! Sometimes they'll charge you on the back end for overweight dumpsters, and sometimes they'll charge you $150 failed delivery fee and not pick up your dumpster at all! It all depends on which company they outsource to and that company's truck hauling limit. Pointers for potential customers. 1. Do not use Budget dumpster 2. Go with a LOCAL direct-to-consumer dumpster company who uses their own drivers and dumpsters 3. You do not get what you pay for. Budget Dumpster quotes may be cheaper on the front end compared to direct-to-consumer companies, but they were more expensive with an ungodly amount of headache. 4. Save your money and mental well being, and hire a different company for your dumpster needs. read more

I rented a 10 cu dumpster and was it was delivered the next day. I filled the dumpster with wood, shingles from an old shed I took down and did not overfill or over-weight the dumpster. Upon removal, they charged an additional $133 for over-weight and then an addition $150 claiming the dumpster contained two mattresses. I sent them pictures of the dumpster that clearly showed no mattresses. Avoid this company. They are a rip-off and will charge extra fees without proof. Go with a local dumpster company. I rent dumpsters on a regular basis for my business and with other companies I've never had any issue. Budget dumpster has been the worst experience ever! From calling at 5:30am to tell me they are dropping it off (even though clear directions were given prior and literally on one place it could fit) to not picking up when they said they would, adding on extra fees. The customer service is horrible when you can reach someon. Now on top of all that they wait 3 weeks after pickup to bill an extra $270 for overweight or so they claim because frankly at this point I think it's just a scam for even more money! Cheap upfront quote but adds additional fees after they pickup the dumpster and claim that the dumpster is overweight. How fortunate for them there is no way to verify and we simply have to take their word for it. Also they have no problem giving you a date to deliver a dumpster then changing it after you pay them the initial fee. Lastly if you think it's any better getting the dumpster picked up.....think again. I filled my dumpster the same day and they expected me to have a full dumpster sit in front of my house for a week and a half before it would be picked up. When you call these people for anything other than ordering a dumpster expect 30-40 wait times then being transferred to some other department for another 30 minute wait. Wish I had read all the bad reviews before ordering. My dumpster was supposed to be delivered yesterday. I called late afternoon to see when it would be here. Message said by 6. At 6 I spoke with someone that said it was still scheduled and they were probably running a little behind. At 6:30, I called about and explained that workers were coming at 8:00 Am and that I needed to know when dumpster was being delivered. She said dispatch was not answering, but she would call dispatch and call me back. She never returned call. This morning I called and waited for pick up for a long time. When someone finally answered , she said it would be delivered some time today since it was not delivered yesterday. I asked her to call dispatch and find out a time. She put me on hold, when she came back on the line said dispatch was not answering. I asked her to call me back within 30 minutes, An HOUR later i called again and said workmen were here to load dumpster and I needed to know what was going on. She said I was on the schedule for delivery. That did not give me any confidence as I was "scheduled for delivery" the day before. I asked her for a time. Again I was put on hold, she then said that she had spoken with dispatch , but they could not reach the driver. I have asked that they call me back when dispatch confirms with a driver that it is being delivered today. Will update. I have never had this problem with other dumpster companies. Ladies that answer phones are polite, but have not returned calls or seemed to be able to get info from dispatchers. SCAM! I ordered 10 yard dumpster, they delivered a 20 yard dumpster. I demolished 2 small bathrooms and 1 kitchen. including 2 toilets, 1 bathtub enclosure, 300 sq feet of linoleum and 200 sq feet of carpet, 2 vanities and 6 kitchen cabinets.... They picked up dumpster, and billed me access weight. Budget dumpster claims that my load weighed 2.4 tons and withdrew additional monies to cover overage agreement....you pay for any and all overage! I began inquiring on day one of receiving bill about erroneous overage, left several messages for manager after being told by several 'customer service' folks they weren't able to assist, it took 7 days to get a 'supervisor' to call be back. Supervisor was unable to do anything but 'it was weighed' it must be correct. I wasn't able to speak with manager and they suggested I contact corporate by email, due to no one in corporate would speak with a customer. of course the email chain began, with Budget Dumpster claiming that it must be the truth because their drivers cover the load and drive directly to weigh station with proper certification. REALLY!!!. I believe Scam began with dropping off larger dumpster, which I filled 1/3 and then they continued to fill it up after leaving my driveway, knowing I agreed to pay for all overages!! Don't use this company they will charge your card after the dumpster is pickup for being over the weight limit without communicating. They will simply say you went over the limit but can't or won't specify what cause it. The customer service reps are a joke. Ask to speak with a manager or supervisor and was told they didn't have one. Then ask what was the weight on the dumpster and was told they did't know. This is a pretty easy review to write. I called them on a Thursday and they had my dumpster in front of my house by Friday afternoon. The dumpster was as advertised and the skilled driver dropped it exactly where I requested(& outlined in chalk for them). We filled the dumpster up over the weekend and called them on Monday to request a pick up. They said they would be there by Friday at the latest to remove the dumpster, but to my surprise they were there on Tuesday and we were DONE. Overall this was a great experience, the price was fair, and the sales person was informative. If I had one complaint, it would be their phone system. I called during business hours but received a message that I was calling after hours and would need to call back the next day. When I hit my reps extension, it said he was unavailable and instead of allowing me to leave a message, the system put me on hold with an endless loop of music. Rent a dumpster from these people 10 days ago. The customer service provided on the front end was good. Be dumpster was delivered on the date we agreed upon. When delivering the dumpster they did damage to my property I discovered this when I arrived the next day and took pictures I emailed the pictures to the property damage Department of budget two days later. They claim that no damage was done. But their driver stated he did nothing wrong and they were sticking with the driver and my pictures meant nothing. These people are not professionals. BE CAREFULL!!! This was an absolutely rip off. I called the representative guy to get a dumpster, He mentioned they are running a promotion, $309 for a 10 days hold for a 2 tons dumpster. I actually rehab houses and I get 40tons dumpsters for about $450 from arrow dumpsters but I was giving those guys a chance since it was a small job. NOT ACCURATE, POOR SERVICE The customer service is poor and information about dumpster sizing on website is completely inaccurate. The 20 yard dumpster we received was approx 6 ft tall x14 ft long instead of 4.5 ft tall x 22 ft long. This may seem a small consideration, but it made a huge impact for practical usage since it was for residential use. It was too tall to comfortably load anything over the sides and harder to load in general because we would have had to lift things over our heads to stack them tall enough to fit everything in the trailer. They would not allow us to cancel and offered a small concession to the price for the "miscommunication"--not good enough. read more
