A…read morefantastic atmosphere with its ultra comfortable leather booth seats, skylight bringing in natural sunlight, even plug sockets for laptop users and free wifi. It also seems the place to watch live sports over a drink and a burger with tv screens on each corner of the restaurant yet it is still very family friendly and service has always been impeccable. In my honest opinion I do believe they serve some of the best American dishes around and can even compete with some of London's favourite diners. Wild wings (cajun) x6 Incredibly moreish and can see myself finishing a higher quantity bucket load. The wing sizes were quite average but very succulent and meaty inside. The cajun spices gave it a nice sweet paprika garlicky flavour and latched on well on the crispy skins of the wing showing that they were well fried, Sloppy Joes Ticked all the boxes for a fantastic burger. First that lovely pillow soft brioche bun, slightly charred so it came warm. Then came the rich tender minced beef fried with onions and peppers in there to give it some texture and boost of flavour. The sauce it came with was generous, with lovely rich sweet and and savoury notes keeping everything moist and juicy throughout. Finished off nicely with a fine slice of cheese, melted perfectly to intensify the umami flavours. Full rack ribs A delicious slab of ribs, keeping its meaty texture and flavours which suggest it was slow cooked the full length of time to tenderise and soften the meat. There was no pre cooking the ribs beforehand here. This allowed the rich BBQ coca cola sauce to penetrate through to the bone whilst reducing in liquid to create a rich and sticky coating around the ribs keeping everythign moist and juicy. A nice light creamy coleslaw on the side to cool things off. Curly fries These were perfectly fried. It had that moreish fluffy inside and crispy outside that was coated in the sweet mild spices which you find collapsing on itself as you chew, sending the rush of flavour through each mouthful. I say mouthful as who just pops one in their mouth per bite, not if they are this good. Chilli fries Not the spicy chilli as I imagined but chilli consisting of a wonderful well flavoured mix of red kidney beans, onions and red peppers in a lovely thick tomato slurry that helped bind the sauce and flavours on each and every chip. Drizzled with sour cream to add a lovely creamy consistency. Very wholesome dish. Sloppy suits every occassion whether it's your quick lunch or a celebration feast. Food has always been fantastic and paired with that is it's lovely bright and spacious atmosphere. Those who can eat a lot like me should definitely go for one of their food challenges. try their Sloppy Joes challenge and knock me down the top of the chart if you can.

They should just make it a plate and add a biscuit or some mashed potatoes or something instead. It was nice to see they had iced tea on the drinks menu since that is bafflingly rare in the UK, but for some reason the only option had apple juice and mint in it. It was fine, but a bit on the sweet side and not really what I wanted. But that's on me, ultimately. The beer selection is fine but unexceptional. It was a Saturday night and the place was super busy but we did get seated reasonably fast. Service at the table was reasonably good. Service at the bar was nonexistent (bartender was busy but not crazily so, still managed to avoid serving us or making eye contact for ten minutes until we were whisked away to our table). The beef brisket was drowned in sauce so there really wasn't any beef flavor to be found. The pork (as marketed in their logo) was overcooked as well. The atmosphere is lively and upbeat with a jukebox, several TV's all showing different channels and a real mixture of people in the place (Our group consisted of some old fuddy duddies like me and some well behaved kids!). The pool tables are in excellent condition and after we finished with ours, the guy behind the bar came out and cleaned it, I don't think I've ever seen that happen anywhere else! There are some other activities that we did't get time to try like Snooker and Darts and there are also some quiz machines and even Jenga if that appeals to you. We found the prices to be reasonable and managed to get a pool table for the entire evening for around £16.
