Friendly caring staff who really care for your pets. I received daily videos of Osito Negro during his stay.

I took my French Bulldogs in for a routine bath. When I arrived home and was carrying them from the…read morecar, I noticed that one of my dogs had a completely missing nail on his right paw. The toe was severely swollen, red, and bleeding. I was not informed that any injury had occurred while he was in their care. When I contacted the groomer, I was told it was "probably" due to my dog scratching at the kennel. I found this explanation difficult to accept, as my dogs sleep in kennels at home every night without issue. The injury also appeared far more severe than what would be expected from simple scratching or a nail coming off on its own. My main concern was the lack of communication and accountability. If my dog was injured while in their care, I expected to be notified immediately and treated with honesty and concern, rather than given a speculative explanation that appeared to place blame on my dog. Additionally, the injury was minimized when I spoke with the groomer, who suggested a veterinarian would "probably just prescribe antibiotics," which did not reflect the seriousness of what I was seeing. As a pet owner, it was distressing to find my dog in pain with a significant injury, and I expected a higher level of professionalism and compassion. I entrusted them with my dog for a routine bath, and he returned injured and in pain. Due to the injury, lack of transparency, and overall handling of the situation, I cannot recommend this business.

I have a squirmy puppy, who is spicy and is difficult to groom. I AM fully aware. But I love her,…read moreas special as she is. - My puppy, being how she is, REALLY needs a competent, capable, kind/compassionate, and patient groomer to provide services. I understand that money is money, and time is very precious to money hungry people, I did tell them that I will pay the same amount, but if my fur-baby does not cooperate, to please stop and I will pay them the same amount either way. This was our 2nd time in this location. The owner was kind before, when the business was new. During that first time we went there, it took her 4 hours long, (because again my baby is not easy) and the owner at that time, as tired as she was (then) she kindly offered for us to come back another day. HOWEVER, This last time, at a time when her business is doing well, my dog came out with blood shot eyes, after a rushed (less than 2 hours) service for a difficult dog, she says that it was because my dog was matted, and true as she was, over time, I have experienced competent, caring groomers who are still very capable of treating her well in whichever situation. & in the first place, AGAIN, I told them that if my dog will not cooperate, and will be difficult, as how I know my princess to be... to please STOP and NOT continue and they will get paid whatever money is owed. The owner rudely said to me (that last time) "Then take your dog to San Diego" and "We cannot spend more than 2 hours in 1 dog" This place has become - Money over compassion kind of business. Shame how the owner changed, and who she turned out to be. I am leaving this here as a Fair warning to people with squirmy dogs, who are not easy to be groomed. Take your pups to a place where groomers have compassion, rather than greed.
