I work for a small organization that needed trophies for a professional conference, so I decided to order from International Trophies, a small and local shop in Silver Spring, Maryland. International Trophies fails on all fronts: customer service, cleanliness, valuing your time, and communication. Firstly, the store is completely unpresentable. It is in disarray, with boxes littering the floor and no presentation room to browse their inventory of trophies. This store's employees lure you in under the guise of being master engravers and trophy creators, but they lack the customer service skills to deliver the goods ordered. Eric, the manager, is a terrible salesperson and should be avoided. After expressing interest in trophies through my company, he often called my personal line, harassing me and demanding payment for the trophies I was interested in. (I should've canceled the order here, but I was in a crunch) After I placed an order worth over $1,000, it became impossible to get in contact with anyone at International Trophies. The store is not open during its listed hours, and employees often lie about their availability. I had to call multiple times to get any updates on the delivery of my trophies. They do not respond to emails, rarely take calls, and are not consistently open. Working with International Trophies means calling every hour, hoping your trophies will arrive on time, only to be met with silence. Do not work with this store if you care about timeliness and communication from a vendor.

I've tried to get keys made at Home Depot and Lowes only to find that they are crap and don't work right. So I go to Mai's. They'll make you a copy for $2 each and can usually get it done in about 30-40 mins depending on how busy they are that day. I go shopping then come back and the keys they've made for me work great.
