The room was surprisingly quiet with all windows on one wall, concrete floors in hall, and a bit rattlely vintage door. Very nice furnishings and beds too. Really cool. Check in was also very pleasant with helpful and cheerful person assisting us. Had all the information about town. Sorry I missed her name. Hotel towers over small town and is right in the middle of everything. You can walk to all shopping and most of dining. Neat old building. If we return to visit again, would definitely stay here and recommend to our friends. If you enjoy western art, I would highly recommend the Woolaroc Museum & Wildlife Preserve about 1/2 hour away near Bartlesville.

My wife and I went on a two-hour private ride here on our way back from Yosemite. We're both…read more"intermediate" riders and have ridden many times on trails in several Western states. Jerry was able to find the perfect mounts for us. The trail started at his ranch and went uphill to a nice view point, then back down. It is very green and pretty there this time of year. My daughter and I stayed here for a total of 11 days. The staff is exceptional and so friendly. We loved every day we stayed and were treated like family. Every time we returned from our day's activities, we were greeted with smiles, "hello ma'am", and overall joy. It was delightful. Rupes, Sweety and Meela of the front office staff were always extremely accommodating. They stored our luggage for 4 days while we traveled to Bhutan, arranged for a doctor to come to the hotel and give me my PCR test for travel, and negotiated cab rates for us. We both got a massage at the spa by Jinisha the spa attendant and enjoyed the using the gym, as it had all one needs to get a good workout. I will most certainly be staying at Baber Mahal whenever I visit Nepal. I love the hotel and the staff is what makes it like home. GO!
