There a couple picnic tables and park benches available and at the westbound location a gazebo that I'm guessing once held a picnic table. If you're road weary and needing a nap if you're a light sleeper you should bring earplugs or consider another location, as the I 8 provided a lot of road noise. Over all I do reccomend this Roadside rest. Both East and West Bound are good. I've had sleep over stops at both locations while on different road trips I've taken. I've never encountered any problems at either location.

They also have a creek on the property which is perfect to grab some coffee and stumble around. They also have a ton of outdoor sitting next to fire pits. Would love to come back and stay some more nights here. This would be an amazing venue to get married at if you are looking.

I said ok and placed it on rhe counter. She rang up the item as full price rather than the day old price. (I live locally so am familiar with the stores practice regarding day old pastry). I asked the cashier if that was the best she could do regarding the price. She took the donut off the counter, looked me straight in the eye and THREW the item into the trash can! I said to her. "So you would rather thow the donut away instead of selling it?" She simply stood there staring at me! I responded nothing to her and left the store. I have been a regular customer of this business for over 9 yrs and have ALWAYS had a happy friendly relationship with everyone connected. Sad that such a bitter person has been hired, so sad. Doors did not lock and not all furniture was unpacked so we had to put it together ourselves. While the view and the birds were spectacular, our hosts were not. We would leave work and things would be moved around when we came back, which was invasive and perplexing since there was no maid service in the four weeks we stayed. On several occasions after working the grave shift in the early morning there would be knocks on our doors and occasionally fire alarms would be set off. One day after days of our doors never locking (both the hallway and sliding glass doors) they decided to do maintenance to finally have the doors properly lock, and lock them when they were done. Well because none of the doors to our rooms locked many of us stopped carrying the keys, and upon arriving to locked doors it was hard to get in contact to be let into our rooms. As much as we appreciated being lodged in this clean facility, we could have done away with the hostility and confiscation of personal property from our rooms.
