Recently I decided to go cheap and purchase a pair of Bondi 8 on eBay for $79. It took 3 weeks to arrive on Father's Day. They did look like authentic Hoka shoes. I put the on and noticed the heel insert collapsed when I put them on and noticed they felt tight and not as comfortable as my older Hoka. After walking my dog for one mile my feet hurt terribly( I am 70 years old). I pulled out the insert and found fresh glue. I took the to Browns and asked to talk to Adam Holt- the owner and operator) and he verified what I already knew that these were indeed counterfeit. I then purchased a new pair of Bondi 8 shoes from Adam which were extremely comfortable and supportive. So if you see Hoka shoes for sale on eBay or other sites for very little, chances are they are indeed counterfeit. Sellers-especially Chinese sellers are getting very good at copying the look of Hoka shoes. However I guarantee they most likely are not and definitely do not have the comfort and support of actual Hoka shoes.

I stopped at the Famous Footwear store in North Platte, Nebraska this afternoon. One of the clerks…read moresaid something about the windy weather and then went right back to speaking to another associate. I then asked where the Skechers were located. She took me to where they were and went back up to the front. As far as I could tell, I was the only customer in the store at the time. I found the sandals in my size, but there was no price. Other boxes had a 25 or 35 % discount, but still didn't see a price. I also found some Skechers slip ons that fit. I took the 2 pairs of shoes up to the front. The cashier asked if I was a rewards member. I said no, so she rang up the purchases. She didn't talk to me about the rewards program or ask if I'd be interested. All she asked me was if I wanted to round up my purchase. The total was 132.00. I had better customer service at Bath and Body Works the day before in the same complex. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted and shown examples of the different fragrances. She even tried helping me with accessing the app and getting a discount. I won't be purchasing shoes at the North Platte location any time soon.
