Bought a couch and loveseat. Paid $500 for delivery and they don't fit in the house... I called the store where the manager said they'd be happy to swap for another set, I would only need to pay the difference.
Paying another $500 difference was never mentioned.
I drove the 1.5 hours to the store (one way) and found a set that was $100 more. But I need to pay that enormous delivery fee again.
If I just return the furniture, I pay the delivery fee anyway.
I don't get my old furniture back either.
Delivery means to take something from the vendor to the customer.
I paid because I am a disabled veteran and am unable to get things up and down the stairs. Now, it turns out that I will have to pay $1000 for the privilege of sitting in the couch a day... in a room that now just has the giant couch.
