Once in, the next hurdle was to find an employee to help me find the sport coat in the men's clothing area of the store. From there it was easy. Found a deeply discounted leather sport coat. This Dillard's is a clearance store inside the Capital Mall in Jefferson City. There is only 1…read moreentrance/exit even though the design had several exits that were purposely closed Once inside, it was obvious why this was set-up this way. The amount of merchandise would create possibilities of 'grab and go'. I was surprised in the volume of top name brand items at great reduced prices. The only issue would be getting your size and liking the color selections. The volume of clearance shoes for women was very staggering when you see the number of shelves placed just for this item. The men's section was surprisingly large, the amount of clothing was impressive. I ended up finding Calloway shorts in my size and with a color blend I could live with for 17 dollars, definitely a good bargain. The Calloway golf shirts were priced very well but they didn't have my size, only XLs and S. Overall, a good find in this empty mall in Jefferson City, Missouri.

As far as Target's in Missouri go, I'm just grateful there is one…read more The store is big and makes my heart happy when I walk through the doors. The only reason the promised land doesn't get 5 stars in the lack-luster grocery section. I always loved going to Target for groceries in other places, I wish this one had a bigger selection that didn't force me to go to Walmart or one of the over-priced grocery stores that I can't use my Redcard at. Oh well, I'm still going to this Target at least once a week for everything else I need in life.

Goodwill needs to remember the items ARE DONATED .... regardless of name brands whatsoever…read more Goodwill is based on names to sell high price, it is a shame how they are taking advantage of the items "" given to them, not charged "" all items not sold are sent to St LOuis MO. Items discounted by color of the week, from the voice of employee items that have not sold are put out mainly to get gone. More $$ items are pulled night b4 color codes in effect. Name brands are just that, they are not regulated to say your charge more for them unless when donated GOODWILL should pay something to the person donating.

Stores are not major anchors, only JC Penny's and Dunham Sporting Goods. It has a small food court with limited tables and the bathrooms near the food court aren't very clean or managed well. The only bright spot is the Dillard's Clearance Center that only has one entrance/exit facing the movie theatre complex. The other exits/entrances are purposely blocked to prevent theft and control where people bring their merchandise to pay. There is plenty of parking and lots of additional options to eat if you are looking for fast food or want to grocery shop at Hyvee. I hope this place survives the relatively low attendance. This place deserves a mall, especially the capitol of the state of Missouri.

Although I haven't been to one since I left Hollywood. In my college days, I would get a lot of little things here: toothbrushes, wrapping paper, hot sauce, dish rags, sponges. etc. I was never disappointed with the purchase, after all you're spending a buck. It's better than the $.99 stores in the West. I've had some back experience with those stores. I've gotten a lot of cheap shirts to wear around the house from here that have lasted me a long time. Sometimes the people shopping are a little dirty, but it doesn't bother me anymore, after all I lived in LA.
