Very poor customer service at the checkout. Got upset with us after she rung up our order wrong. Put coupon on wrong persons purchase and couldn't or wouldn't correct it then just turned and walked away. We asked why and she said we hurt her feelings. So sorry we hurt your feelings. Shoe Carnival probably needs to provide some customer service training. read more

No one asked if they could help me, even though there were three staff members hanging out at the front. I dropped a box on my head trying to get my shoe size down. Despite the number of staff, and the loud crash, no one walked over to see if they could help. The music in the store was way too loud for any rational person to want to hang around and make an informed decision about shoes. Cashier was too busy dancing to see there was someone else in line. Normally I think a skinny white boy dancing to "Motown Philly" is pretty amusing - hell, I'll even join in sometimes, but not during my lunch break, dude. Just cash me out. Manager told me my coupon was only good online, so I pulled it up on my phone and it worked in the store. Glad I didn't spend any more than $50 there. read more

A huge store. In the new part of Jefferson City. I was surprised to see a Shoe Carnival here, as I've really only seen them in Los Angeles and bigger cities. A brother was showing me all the new shops, trying to impress me by how much Jefferson City is moving up in the world. This location was comparable in size and selection to those in LA and SF I used to go to. I did find a handful of shoes I liked, but the prices are what threw me off. Being a discount shoe store, it really didn't show savings. I've seen the same shoe other places for less. The employees were very nice and the store was clean. You're not going to find too many discount shoe stores in Jeff City, so go nuts here. read more

On Mother's day the store employees were rude & disrespectful. Treated us like we had COVID 19. On Saturday we purchased 2 pairs of slides payed over $70.00. The following day we returned to purchase a pair for our 3yr old. Our 3yr old did what most 3yr olds do & keep trying to wonder around. The employees asked my wife if we need any help. She replied yes with sizing our 3yr olds feet. She said she couldn't because of COVID 19. But she keep stalking us but refused to be of any help. Making us feel uncomfortable & giving us dirty looks isn't helpful. They then got on there intercom & made comments about social distancing. We'd had enough. And as soon as we got to the front of the store we were quickly ushered through check out & out of the store. Will never return to the store again & plan on trying to contact the owner. They crossed the line & should be ashamed of them selves. read more

Ok shoe store. Its a little small but it works. The staff is nice and helpful. One of the better shoe stores in town.

Small store and Not a large selection ,but still managed to go away with 5 pairs of shoes - probably because the staff was very friendly and helpful!!! Good job hiring manager- read more
