On this visit, I was looking for a Marshall t-shirt and cup. I hit the jackpot as both were on sale. I found a vintage super soft t-shirt and an awesome cup with a handle. The handle makes walking with a cup much easier! I've worn the short and it washed well. And I started using the cup as soon as I got back to my parents and cleaned it. She led me to a different, even cuter pair of Hello Kitty shoes :') She seemed to genuinely just want to chat and show us things we'd like, and we ended up spending a lot of time in the store looking around at things. She would check in on us occasionally, letting us know about sales including items we were looking at and recommending similar items. She and the other guy working were super sweet and personable. She had the cutest afro puffs and Christmas sweater, and I wish I had caught her name especially. Generally, this store is pretty expensive, thus the lower review, but they had some pretty good sales yesterday and really great employees.

Despite adults' adverse reactions, I witnessed many kind employees walking confused parents and grandparents through gift ideas and patient explanations, when the parents/grandparents had no understanding of their kids' interests. (But it's sweet they were trying.) This Hot Topic has lots of clearance to look through, and is generally well-organized. It doesn't look like there is one, and they keep storage in it, but if you ask, there is a dressing room. I'm very rarely in town and even more rarely inclined to visit my childhood mall, but when I do I usually stop in here for the vibes. Thank you Hot Topic for being the only place that supported my little emo nerd interests and didn't outwardly judge the email I used for your rewards system.

What I was disappointed about was the women's restroom. My friend and I couldn't believe how dirty and disgusting it was in there. We're thinking kids kicked the toilet paper roll dispensers and the feminine trash next to that. How sad. I do love Kohl's. A messy restroom won't keep me from shopping here.

I went in Kohl's to do a return at customer service. Every time I have ever been in the store for…read moreyears there has been a roped off line area for the regular check out registers and a line on the other side of that for customer service and returns. So I go in today to make a return and there was one woman in the regular register check out line side of the rope, so I got on the customer service side of the rope. A woman employee at customer service yelled at me that the line formed behind the woman waiting on the regular register checkout side of the rope. I told her the line for customer service had always been on the right side of the rope and the regular register checkout had always been on the right side. She informed me it wasn't like that NOW. SO WHY HAVE THE ROPE DIVIDER UP IF THERE IS ONLY ONE LINE? NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!!!
